so they are talking about one day making 3 pre season games, and adding a 17th regular season game. The 17th game would be played overseas. Part of the reason is so teams still get 8 home games AZ (i think) lost one when they played SF in mexico, and Miami will lose one this year.

LOL. Oh, yeah, I forgot about that Brees guy. I was concentrating pretty hard on getting the Katrina aftermath factor in there that I forgot him.

I'm up in the air about the 17th game thing. I'd have to think about it. In the meantime, people are tapping their feet for the NCAA BCS contract to run out.

Oh FEMA........Your the best GM ever.

Let's play a game!!!!

Jot down what you think is going to happen and lets see who is the closest to it. Let's just do the top 10

Why not picks #168-177 in round 6? Scared?

1. Raiders - JaMarcus Russell
2. Lions - Adrian Peterson
3. Browns - Brady Quinn (aww, with Romeo it sounds too good to be true)
4. Bucs - Calvin Johnson
5. Cardinals - Joe Thomas
6. Texans (trade w/ Redskins) - LaRon Landry
7. Vikings - Leon Hall
8. Falcons - Jamaal Anderson (oh, the irony)
9. Dolphins - Levi Brown
10. Redskins (trade w/ Texans) - Gaines Adams

I say 1 point for each team with its correct player, regardless of whether or not a trade occurred.

Okay, just heard a rumor that Denver is trading 1st rounders with Houston. At least I got the Houston trade thing sorta right. If that is a true rumor, put the Redskins back at #6 with Landry and let the Broncs pick Gaines Adams.

We are going to see if Mike Williams is really a bust this coming season when he is playing opposite of Calvin Johnson. Lets see if Calvin can produce numbers in that system. If he doesn't in 2 seasons, is he a bust too? or is it then because the Lions are no good and have horrible QB's? I will be looking out to see that CJ gets the same treatment that big Mike is getting.

Never mind man, dumbass Lions going to trade that pick to Bucs. They should pick up CJ.

um Roy Williams puts up great numbers in Detroit. And CJ wouldnt be playing next to williams, he would be playing with Roy while Mike sits the bench.

2006 Stats:
Roy Williams 82 Catches, 1310 Yards, 16.0 Avg, 7 TD's
Mike Furrey 98 Catches, 1086 Yards 11.1 Avg, 6 TD's

Yea no one could ever produce in Detroit, Mike Williams never had a chance.

sry about the double post not sure how that happened.

Damn seem like them two dudes taking away all of Big Mikes catches. 😆 😆 😆

Come on, no more mock drafts people!!!

For my Cowboys, I either think they'll get Meriweather with the 22nd, or trade up and get Terry Ginn Jr with San Fran's pick.

yea im sure there will be some trades but im not even going to try to speculate those.

so it seems Darrell Jackson is heading out of Seattle. SF, TENN, and NO want him, SF is closest to getting a deal done.

I'm sorry who...?

Berman just said "hadn't panned out yet" for Mike Williams. I am glad someone has the brains to know that he has only been in the league for two seasons and can still be developed into one of the leagues most dangerous targets.

Russell, Johnson, Thomas. haermm

Good pick by them. It should have either been him or Adrian Peterson. My dream fantasy would be Arizona somehow ending up with Dwayne Jarrett. PLEASE!!! I don't care if it is 1st 2nd 3rd 4th round I want Jarrett with a good QB who knows how to get him the ball and has played with him before. Calvin Johnson got picked up by Detroit. We will see if people create excuses for him when he don't put up good numbers in 2 seasons.
