Ginn Jr would be a good fit for Dallas. They can groom him for a year without the expectation of being number 1 and they seriously need an return guy.

If Jarrett and Ginn are still both on the board they would be ridiculously stupid not to take Jarrett. You can always get a speed guy in free agency or in the later rounds of the draft. You don't draft a receiver that high to just get a returner. Jarrett is a better receiver than Ginn, I know you know that. But I am just sayin, they could always get someone fast in later rounds or in free agency.

A guy who can sometime in the later future turn into a superstar, or a guy who pretty much when you draft him, get what you see.

I dont know. I personally rather have a guy who could have a chance to be amazing sometime later than a guy like Jarrett.

What your saying is true, but they could just get another possession reciever later on in the draft also.

I see Ted Ginn being a #3 WR because he is a track star, maybe he could move up if he works on that route running. His strides are insanely high so I don't think he can be a juke or fake defender out kinda guy but he can kill you with his speed and acceleration. Send him on streak and post routes and that is where he can be the most effective.

I would rather take Tedd Ginn thatn jarett also. Ginn has the potential to be a superstar I think, but he could also turn out to be a 2/3 guy at best. His big upside of course is you know he can also make a big impact in your return game. I think Jarret will be a solid #2 guy and dont see superstar potential in im so I wouldnt waste a 1st round pick there. I would rather get someone like Steve Smith or Anthony Gonzales later to fill that roll.

Ill tell you what though other than CJ of course the guy I really like is Sidney Rice and Ive heard no one talking about him recently. I think someone like SD might end up with him and thats not good for the rest of the league.

As for dallas I think they should take merriweather or Griffon and get a WR later.

Rice is a good WR (gee, where have I heard that phrase before). He really is. The only problem was that ESPN zeroed in on him after most plays (like they did with CJ) that it seemed like he did a lot less than he actually did. Having 2 different gunslingers last year didn't help his rhythm, either.

If I was Dallas or Seattle I would want to take the best receiver in the draft and they have a golden opportunity to get him because everybody currently has their hands down Calvin's pants who is the 2nd best receiver in the draft. If they take Bowe Ginn or any other receiver over Jarrett we will be coming back to this draft in years, sticking our finger out and laughing our asses off because of who they took. Jarrett is a future superstar receiver of whatever team he goes to, hopefully it is a team who is one receiver away from the super bowl and was smart enough to take the best in the draft.

I sure am glad you arnt a GM for seattle. Why the hell would seattle take a WR? That would maybe be the worst advice for a draft (position wise) I have ever heard. Also Seattle doesnt have a first round pick so they arnt even in the Jarret, ginn, rice, meachem, bowe, etc.. debate.

But just to clarify for you here is Seattle's current WR core:

Darrell Jackson
Deion Branch
D.J. Hackett
Bobby Engram
Nate Burleson

They need to draft O-line first and for most, a HUGE run stopping DT, a TE, and then DB's.

I said Seattle because you said you would rather take Ted Ginn. Was just using your team as an example and 😆 😆 😆 @ that WR "core"!!

I said I would rather take him if I was picking a WR between those 2 for a team. Seattle is fine at WR. Branch and Jackson cover the 1/2 roles just fine. Hackett has been getting a lot better the last couple roles and emerging as a big play guy for them. Engram and Hasselbeck have been together a while and have great timing, he provides a consistent reliable target for Hasselbeck. And then Burleson who I am not a big fan of, but he has talent. Seattle way overpaid for him, mostly to spite the vikings for that bs clause they put in Hutch's contract which screwed seattle. But Burleson gives them a bigger target to use in the RZ.

And yes they want to start getting Seneca involved giving defenses more to game plan for.

Is it the best group of WR's out there? Of course not, but its definitely a solid one that is not a need area right now.

Then you should be happy he's not the highest-rated WR. Calvin's going to a dud team while Jarrett will probably fulfill that Super Bowl wish of yours you professed in the above quote.

Ironically though, a huge difference maker was found in Round 7 in Marques Colston.

yea but they definitely added a couple other difference makers to that team also. I was just saying I dont think adding 1 WR and changing nothing else is almost never going to make a team who wasnt a contender a superbowl winner.

so they are talking about one day making 3 pre season games, and adding a 17th regular season game. The 17th game would be played overseas. Part of the reason is so teams still get 8 home games AZ (i think) lost one when they played SF in mexico, and Miami will lose one this year.

There are a few teams lacking in the receiving department that if probably got a star like Jarrett could definitely make it. Lets see we have the Ravens, Chargers, Broncos and Bears are just some. Maybe even the Eagles, although they still have that "franchise" QB holding them back.
