The Pats are going to need fresh drawers come September. The ones they're wearing until then will be thoroughly drenched by that time, with all the media ****-sucking of Lord Belichick & Co. occurring on a daily basis.

Atleast they can provide some fresh towels, or atleast some handiwipes.

and ricky williams fails a drug test

I can't believe it. He's being sabotaged, he has to be. Knowing that he smoked pot, why would he take another test? Something is definitely up.

Hey, what do you guys think about Favre demanding a trade??

yea where did you come up with that. Im not saying it didnt happen but no sporting news has reported that yet and it would be all over everything sports related. Yes he made comments about the Randy Moss situation and not being happy, but he came no where close to demanding to be traded during that.

So either you have some inside information or you went way over board exagerating on his comments from earlier.

ESPN reported it. They said he demanded after the draft. I agree with his decision too, they should have went after Randy Moss.

yea after the draft there were reports that favre was unhappy and wanted to go somewhere else, but that has been over for a while. He talked with mcarthy said he doesnt want a trade and said himself "The last thing I want to do is start anything"

Are you watching ESPN? He demanded a trade, he wants out, nothing is over with. They need to trade him. He is clearly unhappy about them not getting Moss.

i am sorry but no.

Since you must not of read my last post let me just go ahead and give you more quotes from Len Pasquarelli's interview with Favre during his golf charity event.

" But was the three-time MVP angry enough to ask his way out of Green Bay?

Amid public grousing from Favre about the state of his team over the weekend, a report on the Fox Sports Web site, citing anonymous sources, said Favre's agent called Packers general manager Ted Thompson to request a trade a few days after last month's draft.

According to the report, Packers coach Mike McCarthy later called the quarterback and was able to calm his anger, getting Favre to admit that he didn't really want to play elsewhere."

"Other Packers officials and Favre's agent, James "Bus" Cook, did not return telephone messages from The Associated Press on Sunday."

""The last thing I want to do is start any [controversy]," Favre said. "But I think he would have been a great addition. You throw Randy Moss, you throw [current starters] Donald Driver and Greg Jennings on the field at the same time, and go three-wide receiver set ... and I think it's pretty intimidating. And we lost out on that, and I think that it's a shame, because I know we could have had him.""

"Favre, 37, acknowledged the obvious, that he is nearing the end of his celebrated career, one that will someday earn him a spot in the Hall of Fame. But he emphasized that he can still perform at a high level and that he wants to finish his career a winner.

"I'm not getting any younger and I think everybody knows that," Favre said. "I don't have five years to rebuild. ... I don't know if I've lost faith, and I think everyone in the organization wants to win. I just don't know if it includes me. If it's going to be five years from now, I'm not going to be here. This is 17 years for me and I want to win [now].""

As I said there were rumors of him wanting a trade after the draft. There were solid reports (not just rumors) that he talked with mcarthy and worked that out. Clearly he is far from demanding to be traded. I am not saying he has no desire to maybe play somewhere else. But saying Favre is currently demanding to be traded is missinformation.

I think its sad that if he wanted out.

Having Moss would not get him to the Superbowl again....the team is still a far ways to go.
They were in one of the worst divisions in the league.

Maybe playoffs this year, but Moss would not make them that much better.

"Following the conversation, McCarthy told others inside the organization that the talk appeared to have cooled Favre's anger and that Favre, by the end of the discussion, admitted he didn't want to go elsewhere.

However, Favre continued to tell friends on other teams how frustrated he was with the organization's inability to land the former Pro Bowl wideout and that he, in fact, wanted out of Green Bay" - FOX Sports

yea i mean on one hand i can see why hes angry that they are turning down an easy shot at getting him some help on offense. But on the other hand if he only wants to continue his career on a contender and not on a team that is in building mode he should have gone to a different organization a year or two ago.

He was talked to then he decided he didn't want to go? And you believe that BS. How gullible ARE you? What could have possibly changed his mind? "Don't worry about it, we plan on getting T.O. and L.T." I DOUBT THAT! Favre clearly demanded to be traded, he was and is still frustrated, nothing has changed. You don't just want to go somewhere one day and the next you want to stay unless they told him they plan on making a move. He was clearly disappointed at that golf event.

Allow me to demonstrate an excellent example of the potential lunacy:
