And when Moss had Culpepper he was putting up better numbers than Harrison. If I was a QB and I had to choose who I wanted to throw to it would be Moss. If it was on a deep pass pattern or a 5 and out. When he wants to play he is the more reliable receiver. A receiver you can throw a bad pass to and he would still catch it. Better hands...of course he has better hands, I thought that was pretty clear. 😕
Blocking isnt all about your size, its about knowing how and getting in there to do it. You think Moss is the kind of guy that is gonna get in there and work his ass off on blocks. It pains me a bit to say this but Hines Ward is prolly the best blocking WR in the league. And I would attribute a lot of that at his attitude towards to the concept of blocking.
If I am a QB and I have 1 play where i need to go deep I want moss. If I want a guy thats going to be on my team for the next 10 years and be MY guy. I want harrison because I know harrison is going to work hard every down every season and off season. He is going to be exactly where he is supposed to be every time, he will get seperation, he will make the extra effort on a bad throw, he has insane body control to make the hard catches, and hes not gonna drop any. He will be there for me and thats why hes the guy I would want. You can put a burner in the slot to help stretch the D your main guy doesnt have to be the guy you always look for deep. He needs to be the guy you can count on when it matters.
And he's no slouch when it comes to catching the ball.
Best hands and feet in the game. I dont know how many times I've watch the Colts play and Manning throws the ball and Harrison somehow gets two feet in, controls the ball and gets the TD. Remember that catch against the Pats in the regular season. WOW.
