I say 49ers will make the playoffs. Or come close.

That offense looks pretty good, and that defense could potentially be very aggressive. Smith, if he improves like he did last year, could be the difference maker.

My predictions, but not in order

1. Colts - Can never doubt Manning, he will always make this team an contender. Defense could decline, or improve...and Addai will just get better and better.
2. Patriots - Moss and Thomas could easily lift this team up to obvious choices, but Moss could hinder than help the team. Defense is getting weaker and weaker every year. Thomas will help, but who else do they have at LB thats not getting old. And secondary still needs help with Meriweather could potentially be an pest.
3. Cincy - I dont know why, but I'll just say it. They do have a good team, Palmer is not coming from an knee injury, they look like the clearing up all the shit that has gone with
4. Saints - they have weaknesses, but they have good depth in offense and defense is coming along.
5. Cowboys - the only problem was defense last year, and if everything goes well, it should be a strength. They have Phillips to shore it up, Ware is getting better and better and Hamlin should shore up secondary.

Out of playoffs teams

Chargers - if LT goes down, and he could, that team is done for. Also, losing Phillips could hurt them
Chicago - its Grossman, he's not good and last year they surpaised people will defense and special teams, but now, everybody knows Hester can run and outdeke everybody and the Colts showed thier weakness. I might be wrong, but Hester like Dante Hall will not be as effective, not because he is going to suck, but everybody knows not to kick to him, or find a way to contain him.

Worst teams

Titans - Vince Young aint that good, lost key people, and well, they arnt that good
Raiders - still the same team.
Bills - well, lost their only good players Spikes, Fletcher and that RB.

I'll tell you what would be interesting, but it's not going to happen. If this whole dogfighting thing blew up to something Ray Lewis-like and Michael Vick got kicked out of the league. Yeah, I know there's no chance of that happening so spare me the comments on the feasibility of that scenario. But, for all fantasizing, what if it did? Talk about one hell of a statement from Roger Goodell! To kick one of the Superstars (Vick ain't an All-star) out of the league!

Also, I came up with a potential sign if the Falcons play on the shores of Lake Erie...."Hey Vick, in here the Dawgs kill you!"

I love your ability to deem someone a bust. Mike Williams after 2 seasons and Lendale after 1. Keep it up and you will be calling someone a bust before they even get drafted.

THE NEXT BUS, you see "bust" has a "t" "BUS" (aka jerome bettis) does not.
To be more specific for you I didnt call lendale a bust i called him fat. Im not 100% sure on the number but i believe it was around 275 he clocked in at earlier this off season.

And for as high as he was taken Williams to this point has been a bust. If he was a second round WR i prolly wouldnt say that, but he wasnt he was a top guy taken and those guys are expected to perform quickly, especially when they have had plenty of chances.

ps. just heard a guy who was being put to death (dont know for what crime) his last words were Go Raiders.

Nah, can never say White is a bust. Only busts happen in first round.

My favourite thing is to hear analysts call round 4 picks bust.

Unless, I'm the Raiders, or some shitty team, I would always draft a guy based on potential in the higher rounds, even if he became a problem, you can just cut him and you lose some like 5 bucks in guarenteed contracts.

My other favourite thing is to hear people talk about how great an GM picked up a great guy in the higher rounds. **** that, he got lucky. How would Sean Payton and company know that Colston would of had that big of an year. Maybe, they thought that he could potentially become very good WR later on in his career and maybe spend time on the practice squad...but they had no idea that he could be the best reciever on the team.

Brady is another great example, do you really think that Belicheck would of gotten an prospect QB that was rated higher than Brady if he was available. They got lucky. If Bledsoe didnt go down so early...he could still be the QB, or well, 2 years ago as the QB.

Fat guys are still supposed to be great short-yardage backs, like the Bus was. If White can eat up that role (pun intended) this year and get first downs and touchdowns, I'd like to say that he will NOT have the early looks of a bust.

First things first, though. His team has to get him in second and third down short-yardage situations and near the goal line. With VY running the Nebraska Cornhusker-style offense from a QB standpoint, running up and down and sideline to sideline, that may be too much to ask.

I read an wicked article about Dallas new FB draft pick. It's funny on how people deal with pressure and bad shit happening to them.

Basically, the long story short ( I know you guys cant read very well hahaha)

He got an schlorship to UConn, he pretty much flunked out, got in some trouble with the law, suspended twice for over an year and basically dropped out.

He then started basically working dead end jobs for over an year as gas stations, Walmart and shit like that. He then reapplied, got back into college, but didnt play for the football and had no money, so he got an small load to pay for the tuition, living in dead end apartment in this ghetto where kids in thier teens would be stoned on heroin and shootings everyday. So he left, and then lived in team lounge for the next year. He left everyday before the cleaners came in at 5 o clock in the morning.

He got back onto the team and basically in his senior year got the MVP award for the team and then got drafted by Dallas.

Considering all this shit about Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson and the death of Darrent Williams....its nice to hear an story about a guy who was in trouble and got out by hardwork and being not the most physically and gifted person.
