The Falcons have actually had a lot of talent in recent years. Did he have great WR's? No but hes not the most accurate guy either which was part of the problem. What he did have was a defense that made big plays, one of the best TE's in the league (which is the best weapon for a guy like him) and 2 RB's that provided a very good run game. I mean come on its not like they had Vick on the Raiders or Texans he had talent around him. Oh yea I didnt even mention one of the best return men in the game. And while he didnt have super star WR's he had Finneran who catches everything and is a big target. Now the run game isnt the same and crumple and some of the D is old so things are different but Vick has definitely had a good amount of talent around him the problem was he never elevated his game to the level of a superstar.

Well said. That pretty much sums up the Michael Vick Experience.

Vick can look like a hall of famer on one drive and the next 3 drives, with 3rd down passes sailing over his receiver's heads and hitting the towel boy in the gut, it's like "what the hell was that?" Except against Carolina in 2002, the guy doesn't put his team in a position to dominate and put teams away.

But he deserves to be on a team.

Actually, he deserves to be suspended if this dog thing doesnt go away.

the players association asked for pacmans suspension to be lowered.

They are looking for over 30 dog carcases, man thats just wrong.

If Vick is involved in this dog fight thing, he deserves to be suspended by some time, without question.

i dont care about the nfl, anyone involved deserves some time in jail.

You can't be a good QB without some ****ing receivers, comprehend that because that is the only reason why he doesn't have good numbers. He can't be accurate with poor receivers. His #1, would have a hard time making the AFL. Falcons aren't helping him either, Vick is young, why not draft a damn receiver?

Any QB in the league would struggle with their receiver core.

I wonder what those dogs are thinking of Vick now. He should thrown out of the league if everything is proven.

What?

Accuracy is based on the QB. It has nothing to do with the recievers. A ball that flies way over thier head is the QB's fault.

He needs receivers. He can be accurate if his receivers know what the hell they are doing out there. He is one of the leagues best players but the Falcons have no given him any kind of receiver help.

Yeah, I can almost assure you Peyton wouldn't be THAT good if you take away Wayne and Harrison and put in 2 fourth-string WR's.

Well having 2 fourth-stringers???? I don't know any QB ever that would be better/the same honestly.

Okay, okay, I exaggerated a bit, hehe. Let's change that to 2 2nd-string backups.

Take away Wayne and Harrison, you have Fletcher, Moorehead, Ben Utech and Dallas Clark.

Crumpler is better than all four of those guys and Clark is the only other threat oustide of the top 2.

But the thing is, Manning still throws perfectly well at those 3 other guys. They arnt great, they're mediocre but the thing is, Manning still does well.

Vick isnt the one of the best player in the league, he aint even top 5 QBs in the league...heck, maybe near the top 10. He's exicting, but take away his speed, he's ainth that great of an QB.

I thought the problem with the Falcon WR was that they never caught the balls, but I dont think the problem is route running. Vick is an inaccurate passer.

Manning is an accurate passer, we all know he is, but your comment leads me to believe that you think he could actually do something if him and Vick switched places. Not with that receiver core and not with that line. He has never had good receivers on his team, you saying he has Crumpler, who else after that? So he has one target. A target that sees double coverage the whole game, add that to the fact that he is a tight end....

Vick has a great arm, probably the best in the league. BUT HE HAS NO ONE TO THROW THE BALL TO. To try to say otherwise is ridiculous. They have the worst receiving core in the league.

What the--? They ARE NOT mediocre, what the hell makes you say that?? You surely haven't seen the plays Wayne and Harrison do all the f*ckin time. Really, if you say they're mediocre, you're very, very wrong. Didn't you watch any Colts games during the season? Jeez.

And, I NEVER said Peyton would be inaccurate without them, I only said he wouldn't be as good as he is, because his receivers make really good catches a lot of times.

K, please, an QB who is accurate does not suddenly become inaccurate because of the WR's.

An inaccurate QB who has top recievers does not suddenly become accurate.

And please read my ****ing post, I said, if you take away Wayne and Harrison, you have mediocre recievers left. Manning throws just as well to those recievers than he does with Wayne and Harrison.

Vick is inaccurate passer. People in this thread have also said this. I know Falcons WR drop alot of passes, but he still overthrows them alot. Nonbody who is there, and overthrown ball will not be caught, thus making Vick an inaccurate passer.

Vick can throw the ball far, but he is still inaccurate and if your say Lord that he has the best arm, do you mean both accuracy and strength, or just 1? If so combined, your seriously wrong.

I'm not saying Vick doesnt have the stats to say he is one of the best players in the league, cause I know he doesnt have the WR's to have those stats, but what I see when he plays, I dont think he is.

If he was one of the best in the league, his team should easily be better.
