I like to move also.

Chambers was a good player before last season. Is he worth an 2nd rounder? Probalby.

was anyone else shocked that Bush had his 3 longest runs in his career on sunday? (not shocked that it happend) but shocked that a 19, a 20, and a 22 yard run were his 3 longest. How has he never broke one for longer before? An interesting fact was thrown out in that game also. Bush is the first RB taken in the top 5 ALLTIME to not have a 20+ yard run in his first 200 carries. Yea I know a pretty random stat but still. He had a good game and a few nice runs, however 2 of the 3 long ones any RB in the league would have had a big game cause there were just massive holes in the defense. I still dont think he has shown that he can be the guy that runs the ball 25 times a game and picks up all the hard yards. I mean you saw late in the game they were going to stecker to try to run clock, thats because they dont want to chance bush taking a loss of yards from dancing around or bush fumbling.

Chambers as a Charger helps LT and Gates immensely.

That tends to happen when you are splitting carries. Why do people forget this when they are talking about Bush? Usually when a back is taken top 5, he doesn't start out by splitting carries. Really Deuce was getting the majority of the carries, and before he went out, Bush was only getting 9 per game. I think what was happening with him was, he knew he was only going to get a low volume of carries, so on run plays he pressed more to make big plays. That is understandable. I think I would do the same. And forum, not any back would have been able to make those plays. I think only a handful because he was making some great cuts to find those holes and used his unmatched speed to burst through them. Any RB my ass. Stop trying to take away from what he did. Hater. You can keep hating, and he'll just keep proving you wrong all season long.

Also most of his big plays were on receptions. With the biggest being 88 yards on one of the best defenses in the NFL, where most of it was run after catch.

The 2nd rounder for Chambers trade was one of the only even-steven trades I've seen in a while.

Yeah, it is.

There is a couple of trades that should of come to fruition but didnt.

Packers should of gone for Michael Turner, and Arizona or the Panthers should of gone for a QB or something.

Wouldnt it be a good trade for Miami to give up the number 1 pick for Jemarcus Russell?

Possibly, but what would the Raiders do? Dante Culpepper is not the long-term answer, and neither is any of the McCown clan.

Good question.

It seems that Russell wont pan out in Raiderland just because of the holdout and not because of lack of talent.

Maybe I was thinking of another team or something.....ah well.

I believe Russell gets his chance next year. The Raiders aren't going to have him this year.

you clearly dont read what i write but thats ok. One I do not hate Bush I think he is extremely talented. Saying that I dont think he is the guy who can run the ball 25+ times a game and pick up all the hard yards doesnt mean i hate on him. And 2 of his 3 big runs there were huge holes that most RB's in the league would have had a big gain on. Also what does splitting carries have to do with the record I mentioned. If anything it should help him because it was based on their first 200 carries not a limit of any amount of time or games played but simply carries. Adriane peterson is splitting with Chester Taylor and you dont see him struggling do you? You shouldnt get so offended that people critque Bush, he isnt god and he isnt the all time great that you claim him to be yet.

I claimed him to be an all time great? Quote me, don't believe I have ever said anything close to that. And how is Bush struggling? He set the rookie record for receptions and is looking pretty good as the Saints featured back. And you are hating, that is as clear as day. So on Peterson's big runs, could any running back in the league have done what he did or was it just on Bush's runs? I'm guessing Peterson had to squeeze through a pretty tight hole, breaking multiple tackles on his 60 yard run while all Bush had to do was run straight and BOOM 20 yards! Same with LT, he had a pretty big day, almost 200 yards, 4 touchdowns, but only he could have run through those holes. Try to give credit where credit is due. Do you think it is a coincidence that Bush had those big run plays in only his second game as their featured back?

The holes were so big for Bush.

i said you dont see adrianne peterson struggling (meaning struggling to have big games) even though he splits carries. Again I didnt say bush struggles and I didnt say he was bad. I said on 2 of the big 3 carries there were MASSIVE holes. No not every RB would have gotten 20 yards but as I said most would have had a large gain still, and yea someone like LT or Peterson might have broke one of them for 50-60 instead of getting stopped for 18-20. As soon as he got through the large hole and into the secondary the runs all got stopped.

He did have some nice runs where he made nice cuts and made people miss to gain extra yards, but he also got stuffed several times and Stecker was the guy they went to for clock management late in the game. If his own team doesnt trust him to be the guy to pound it out I think that says something.

It's only near half of the season and I'm already ranting about TV coverage.

This week primetime game for the 1PM slot is the Patriots vs Dolphins, while even though the matchups are not great, but still its better than the best team in the league and the worst team in the league playing each other. Hell, the spread is at 17 for NE.

Show the Cincy-Jets, KC-Oak, Buffalo-Baltimore, should be better games than that one.

Thank god I have Sunday Ticket.

Hopefully, the Cowboys win against the Vikings. They should be. The matchup extremely well against them. The Vikings have a good run game, but horrible pass game. Dallas on the other hand, has a good run defense and decent pass defense. So whats going to happen, very simple and pretty much obvious. Bring in Roy Williams because I 'm pretty sure Newman and Co. can hold those great Viking recievers off.

Then you have a bad pass defense going against a great pass offense in Dallas.

Hopefully, Dallas doesnt do a Dallas and **** it up.

Good call.

Only way I can get Chargers games in Bronco territory. 😐 13

Oh, and they need flex scheduling much earlier than week 10 or whatever.

Definitly.

But the problem is that I dont always want to see the Patriots play. I ****ing hate the Patriots.

Everybody in media has articles know stating, a. The Patroits dont care about media not liking them, and b. The Patriots are gods.

I was always under the impression that the Pats were blown by all the media and the Patriots, even though they are the best team in the league, still have played the Jets, Chargers, Bills, Cincy, Cleveland and Dallas. Combined record of 14-20 with the majority of wins coming from the Cowboys. Hardly great competition.

I think it says that Stecker was in the game and Bush was getting rest, kinda like they were doing THE ENTIRE GAME! Why are you trying to spin it and make it look like the Saints don't trust Bush? Come on now, that is bs, where do you come up with this stuff?

LT would have gotten 20 yards on Bush's 20 yard run. Peterson might not have even gotten 20 yards, it required a certain speed, elusiveness and cutting ability that Peterson does not possess, but LT and Bush does. Your nuts man, 60 yards? Aha.Aha.Aha. Again, where do you come up with this stuff? The cuts he made enabled him to get those big gains, not just extra yards. Were we watching the same game?

Also the Vikings are a running team, averaging the most rushes per game, Bush has had only 2 games where he has had 20 or more carries and one of them was last year. Peterson on the other hand, has 4 in his first 5 games of his career. It's not because Peterson is a better runner than Bush, because he isn't, it's because Bush was splitting carries in a pass first offense, so that is like 10 a game, Peterson is getting the bulk of the carries, double what Reggie has been getting, he is averaging 20 a game. Last game was proof that if you get Bush that many carries, he is going to get you 100 yards, plus the additional yards receiving.

nuff said

You been drinking too much of this stuff.....

Smas, how's that working out for you, 'cause weren't they working you on Sunday days this season?

Nah, not anymore.

I basically ran the restuarant for a month without any help and by myself and I told them I want Sundays off. Eventually, they said ok, because if not, I'm out.

I'm still out if they make me do Sundays again.

Sunday Ticket is awesome, but my problem is that Dallas now plays on most primetime stations, so getting Sunday Ticket didnt make alot of sense. Then I realized I would miss all the other games and I couldnt help myself. Also, I do have PVR (TiVo for the US) so I sometimes just tape it and watch the game afterwords in like an hour and a half.

My other problem is that most games are not in HD and the only ones that are the games that suck. I always get Packers, Bills and Detriot games, which are in HD, and get Seattle games too (timeshare channels). I know for a fact that people get the big games in HD also, so I dont understand why Sunday Ticket doesnt show all the games in HD when the majority of them are.

I'm usually offered all of the games in HD except for 2 or 3 per week. And it seems that the non-HD games each week always seem to feature the Texans and the Titans. That means that this week's upcoming game between them is definately in blurr-vision.

I love NFL Sunday Ticket. I can watch game I want. On sunday I'll decide which one. Although I may just go back and forth with some of the games.
