Thats not true, Last year or in the offseason we had this debate and even than I said Moss was a better Receiver than Owens. I would always hear how Owens was better than Moss, Moss is past his prime and blah blah, but I always said give Moss the kinda QBs that Owen has had, and not Andrew Walters and you would see Moss with just as good or even better numbers than Owens.

So one person in this forum makes my point wrong.

Look at all the media right now. They're blowing Moss left, right and centre.

Last year, and the year before, they werent.

Overall, the majority of people didnt it talk about how Moss was better than TO.

Is he? Probably. I dont really care.

I didnt know you were talking about people, and the media in general. If thats the case, I actually agree with you on that one, but I expect nothing less from the media than this type of behavior. But if you were talking about people in this thread like I thought you were, than yea, that is where we would disagree, because some(albeit the minority) people backed me up on the Moss Vs Owens discussion, but nevertheless, 98% of the media are deuchebag hyprocites who just state the obvious.

So an Youtube of Moss being Moss is clearly the reason that Moss is better than TO.

That's complete crap.

Nonbody gave a shit about Moss last two years and called him overrated , but wait!!!! He's playing well this year and now he is the best WR of all time.

Hypocrites.

actually, ive been supporting moss since he was in marshall. i have the jersey and everything. and i always thought that moss had a better chance of going to the hall of fame than t.o. ever had.
but yeah, most of the people that like him now only like him because he's doing good and he's basically on a walking pro bowl team. my whole family is from boston, so i was going for them since i started watching football.

I was talking overall media and the general public.

I just know for the past two years in this thread, Moss was barely mentioned. Now, every post it seems is about him.

I know he has immense talent and probably better than TO, but the majority of people now see Moss as a great player and great person when in reality, he's a little *****.

Even in Minn I would have taken Owens over Moss. I've always viewed Moss as the second best in the league, even when he was with Oakland. To me, ever since Owens moved up to #1 in San Fran, he's been the best in the league. The only way Moss would be my #1 is if it was Madden.

Best thing about this is that it's debatable, but Peterson>Tomlinson is not, who is tired of hearing how Peterson is the best in the league? I love the guy, but that's bull.

I also agree.

Peterson is a great RB, but I'm going to wait until the next season and see how he does to label him as the best RB in the league.

In my opinion, RB's tend to fade out sooner or later. That's why Emmitt Smith's record is such an undertaking, either you get injured or you slow down.

The only thing you could really argue is that Peterson is having a better rookie year than Tomlinson, but as far as overall comparison, yea, I would wait another year or two to compare that one.

Peterson is the best player in the NFL...Yes player, he runs like no other, way fast, loves to hit, and broke the rushing yards for a game in his rookie year...He's having an MVP type year, but I don't think that he'll get it. But forsure he'll get Rookie of the Year.

Peterson isnt the best player in the league.

Does anybody remember what record he broke?

He broke Jamal Lewis rushing record. Does anybody considered him one of the best when he broke the record.

no, i think he will definitely get rookie of the year and probably pro-bowl, but its too early in his career to say he's the best right now. im gonna have to wait another year or too before i start to judge him like that.

good point.

He'll get ROY easily, and will get an Pro Bowl spot easily.

MVP, not a chance, everybody knows whose getting that.

I really think it's only gonna get easier for Peterson in the coming years assuming the Vikings draft/sign more weapons on offense. I mean, the defense knows exactly whats coming with Peterson, and he still gets 5 million yards. Every time there is 8 in the box because we have below average recievers and a bad QB. Just wait until we have a passing game and defenses have to respect both.

Had to make sure I was actually reading Danzeke25's post.

For some reason, Fox thought the people in LA would rather see the Vikes play the Packers than the Saints play the Rams, even though it was planned to show the Saints game , now they ****in changed it, I got my hopes up too. WHY!?!

Gonna have to go a sports bar for this one, I GOTTA get DTV back! Time Warner sucks!!!!!!

He will do well.

But how many times have we've seen an hotshot rookie RB, or other offensive/defense player who does extremely well in thier rookie season and then falters later on.

I remember I made the prediction that Julius Jones will get 1800 yards in his second season because he did so well in the first season, especially when he had two 190 yard games.

Look at him now. He's alright. By no means does that say that Peterson is going to be like that. He wont, but I'm not going to pass him the cup as the best RB, let alone best player until he atleast has a season or two.

The way you typed out that essay, I assumed you were a Pats fan.

Might have said something about it in the paragraph, but like I said, I didn't read it. haermm

Naw,like you,Im a chargers fan.Except for when marty was there of course.at that time, they went from my most loved team to my most hated. 😄 as i said before, there was never a doubt in my mind that Marty The moron would blow it for them and cost them that game against the patriots last year. The chargers found out WHY the cheifs got rid of him.
His mind always freezes up in the playoffs and just as he did with the cheifs,he made moronic decisions in that game against the patriots that cost them the game like going for it on 4th and 11 which caused Rivers to get sacked and gave the patriots great field position and got a touchdown out of it.a crucial turning point in the game for themHe also blew the game for them against the jets a couple years ago as well if you recall.martyball works during the regular season, but not the playoffs. 😆

Only one more full day before the Stellers rock the Browns back to reality.
Those dirty Browns actually think they have a shot at becoming number 1 in the division 😂 😆 🤣 😂

I think they do actually.

I don't think the browns will win today, the steelers actually have a defense. I hate both teams though.

Packers vs. Vikings, Packers won, 34-0
they are now 8-1
it's great
