If the Colts were healthy they would have won. They are very much injured, Harrison isn't even playing, that's like Dallas losing Owens or the Panthers losing Smith. Bottom line is, when they're healthy, they're arguably the best team in the league, but they have way too many injuries right now.

Chargers suck! Colts had no business being in that game, down 23-0, and that "simulated snap" penalty was BS, they just shifted, the ball wasn't snapped, Manning's hand wasn't even under center, the hell?

Guess the city has officially severed ties with the team.

Well done Chargers!

I am very serious. Using the injury situation is nothing but an ignorant excuse. If thats the case then I should be using that very same excuse since the Titans lost and our defense who was without Albert Haynesworth gave up what close to 200 yards rushing to a Jags team that the Titans stopped earlier this season. Also it amazes me that when a team loses and that team has injuries thats always the said excuse. Teams deal with injuries in every sport and its up to each and every team to win and lose with what they put out on the field or court. Listen I've always liked Peyton. I have watched him ever his college days and I even watched him play up close and personal when his then Tennessee Vols played the UCLA Bruins. I went to those games and I even got his autograph. I just can't in good conscience use their injury situation as an excuse for their back to back loses. Even a healthy Colts team may NOT beat the Patriots in the possible AFC Championship game. And the game 2nite, nobody told the Colts to kick the ball to Darren Sproles knowing full well that he can take the ball back for a score at any given time. Then they punted the ball to him which got the exact same result. Also those 6 picks, Manning has had plenty of time learning their abilities ever since Harrison went down, so I can say that perhaps he should have thrown the ball better or maybe the Colts should trade for Chad Johnson and that well definitely help them. All in all on all facets of the game Vinatieri should've made those chipshot field goals, and Reggie Wayne should've made a better effort also.

I'm not just talking 1 player like you are. I'm talking about atleast 10 players, and 10 important players.

Its still a dumb excuse to use. Even completely healthy there is still no guarantee that the Colts would still be undefeated especially since the Colts blew golden opportunities to beat the Patriots and Chargers. Did the Titans use the injury excuse last season when they started out 0-5 and finished 8-8. Did the Phoenix Suns use the injury excuse a few years ago when Stoudamire was out and Phoenix nearly made it to the NBA Finals? What about the St. Louis Rams last season and the season, are they using said excuse, of course not. One final word and we can talk about other games....The Colts are 7-2 which is a damn good record, but WEREN'T th Colts UNDEFEATED AT 7-0 with injured players?

J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!

Lol I bet the Colts wish they had shayne graham! he kicks FG's all day long like it's nothing....7 fgs! Funny part is it really screwed me over in fantasy! The other guy had Shayne Graham and I had Palmer, Houshmanzadeh and Chris Henry Starting (Henry in place of Randy Moss since he had a bye). THat blew! then the Steelers Defense/ST didnt come through for me, nor did Marion Barber...or The Ravens Kicker (his name escapes me right now for some reason....hes only the oldest guy on their team lol) BUt then again at least the Bengals won!

Your not understand what I'm saying.

Stop using a single player being out as an excuse. Look at the Colts lineup last night. Half thier skilled offensive players were gone, or got injured throughout the game.

No, the only Colts who have been injured on a consistent basis is Harrison, and Tony Ugoh. Defense, Kieho has been the only consistent injury.

Look the Patriots. Everybody considers them the best team in the past 20 years, and now the discussion is not if they go 16-0, but if they go 19-0. What would say if the Patriots lost to the Chargers last night if they didnt have Moss, Welker, 2 LT's and 1 RT, Seymore, Ben Watson, Colvin, and Junior Seau. If they lost, would you not consider them the best team in the league? Of course you do. They got ****ed by injuries.

Anyway... I believe in two weeks the Cowboys and Packers meet. I think it'll be a good game.

Smas hit it spot on right there with his last few sentences.

The Titans don't need an injury excuse, they can use Vince Young because dude SUUUUCKS! If Mike Vick had his numbers he would be getting bashed on every ESPN show. No one is talking about how bad this guy has been playing, how the hell can people say the Titans are amongst the best in the league when their QB hadn't thrown a TD in over a month and his passer rating is god awful. All you need to do is make the guy beat you with his arm. Now Dennis Dixon is the truth, he'll be one hell of an NFL QB.

I never liked Vince Young.

In a ironic way, that 2006 NFL Draft Class is rife with disappointments.

Williams, Young, Bush, Lienart, Davis.

Out of all of them I think the only couple that really is doing well and meeting expectations is AJ Hawk, Ernie Sims and Donte Whitner.

Dont hear to much about Ferguson and Huff.

Injuries is not a stupid excuse, but it is apart of the game and you have to just deal with it.

You're right, there is no guarentee that they would have won, but there is no guarentee that they still would have lost either so what are you trying to say? There is a much better chance that they would have ended up winning those games instead of losing them if they had all their players, and if you don't think so then you've lost all hope.

A couple of injuries cannot be made as an excuse for losing.

But the Colts did not have a few guys injured, they had a ton of important players injured.

They also lost Freeney know for awhile. Signed Simeon Rice.

Despite the injuries the Colts won a slobberknocker. Dallas Clark returned and Vinatieri sought and redeemed himself with a game winning field goal.

not sure he redeemed himself. He was only 2 for 4 at home which is bad for anyone, but terrible for him. Sure he made the game winner but it was an XP sized kick right down the middle. All I know is it looks like the Colts are in trouble.

True, but they didn't look too hot around this time last year, and look how that worked out.

this time last year they simply could not stop the run at all, and it was mostly because they lacked the physical play of Bob Sanders in the box. Right now their pass rush looks as if it might be gone, and worst of all their offense is looking ugly. The way they are playing right now looks nothing like how they were doing this time last year, it is a very different kind of struggle.

I think they will be fine when playoff time comes.

The important thing is that they won the game. It doesnt really matter if they looked bad because a couple of years ago, they wouldnt of won that game.

That defense is excellent, it makes plays when they need too and are one of the best tackling teams out there.

Anyways, I'll put somthing out there.

After watching the Cowboys game, I was wondering...

1. if the team calls an TO before they realized a guy was injured, does that team gets its TO back?

2. Why the **** does a team play prevent defense when only up by 12?

3. Giving TO's game today, if Moss doesnt play well today, does that leave open the discussion that TO-Moss are on the same playing field. Currently right now, TO is tied with Moss in TD's and beating Moss in yardage. If Moss plays well, it doesnt matter but if he doesnt, he will roughly be in the same area as TO.....

TO is one hell of a great WR, but he isnt Moss.

Soooo are the Pats ever gonna give Maroney some carries?

Matt Cassel, Heath Evans, and CHad Jackson are starting now and still rolling over the Bills.
