it is too early to call anyone a bust I think, you gotta let them have a full season, also Calvin had a solid game today against a tough defense.

I agree with Forum.

Give him a year.

Unlike Mike Williams, Calvin Johnson has done something.

No he hasn't.....😕

Calvin Johnson has shown potential, but he has only started to see significant playing time the last 3 or 4 games. The dude does drop alot of 3rd down, and endzone balls though. I agree that it's to early to call him in a bust, but next year will be crucial for him, I think you'll be able to tell this time next year if he will make it in the NFL.

Well, for a guy you called not a bust in Mike Williams, Calvin Johnson has more TD's than he has combined for his whole career.

yea compared to SSMMW (super slow motion mike williams) Johnson is already a stud.

Yeah......

If he doesnt do better with the Titans, that will be the last time he will be on.

The only reason why he is on the Titans is because they still think he might have it because, " he was an first round pick and Mel Kiper said he was the best player in the draft that year".

huh?

I didn't call CJ a bust, I said he could become one because he has back problems and he's dropping balls. DJ catches everything but he hardly gets playing time, watch out for him next season when he's the Panthers #2 and isn't spending most of the season on the inactivate list. Big Mike can't seem to catch anymore.....

I usually give a guy at least 3 full seasons before I call them a bust, even more if it's because of circumstances....bad o-line, horrible QB, injuries....

I dont get it.

If he is so good and worthy of the Panthers #2, why isnt he playing right now?

Or is just a love affair with USC players?

I didn't realize we were currently in "next season" like I just clearly stated in my post....maybe that's why you didn't get it?

😱

I understood but like I said, if he was good, he would be playing right now.

I was under the impression that Jerrett was not one of those project players and if somebody drafted him, he's skills will be roughly the same.

Maybe he isnt good enough to play in the NFL on a consistent basis because if he was, then he would be playing because I'm pretty sure the Panthers suck ass and need all the help they can get.

He IS playing right now...

O_o

so......the patriots are gonna rape the eagles tomorrow.
excited about that

Oh, because 6 catches for 73 yard is hardly a good season.

I guess its hard to beat out Drew Carter and Kenny Colbert for a position.

Ahhh, it must be tough to Dwayne Jerrett.

The Panthers are on their 3rd striing QB....

A guy who has no business STILL being in the NFL. And even he is banged up!

It's Keary not Kenny and KC is pretty good, one of my favorite Trojans. I guess it's my USC bias, that's why I think Jarrett should start over him. 😆

what does the 3rd string QB have to do with Jarret being un able to win a roster spot over carter and colbert. Yea the bad QB is a good excuse for not getting a lot of catches if the QB cant throw. But it is not an excuse to not be on the field.

Exactly.

O GOD...

Did I not just say he was playing?

Exactly??? Short term memory loss?

no one said he hasnt played in a game yet. But he has also been inactive in 8 of the Panthers first 11 games, including TODAY. Also in his 3 games hes only had 6 total catches. He played in 3 games because other people were hurt not because he beat people out and earned a spot, and now that everyone is back you see that he didnt impress anyone with his limited chance and hes back being inactive.

in none USC football news, who needs Adrian Peterson when you got Eli throwing your D the ball!
