Well.

The Roy Williams tackle wont take away the big DB's. I feel its all about discipline. You can have a big guy who is diciplined, who's just as good as the smaller guy.
Remember, the CB's are still allowed to put thier hands on somebody at pthe line of scrimmage. After 5 yards, they're not allowed to. The big guy will disrupt the reciever at the line of scrimmage while the smaller guy will stay back about 5 yards.
Both are still viable strategies.
But as you say, you still need that SS that can knock people out (but not bust knees now).
I remember Roy Williams changing the face of the individual game by knocking a WR out cold. Next thing you know, that WR wont catch any balls near Williams in fear that he might die from the hit. You need that type of player to dictate the opposing offences.

The FS i feel is the guy who never lets anybody get past him. Ed Reed is a very good example of it.

Yeah, but nothing makes me madder than penalties on my team's DB's.

You can game plan all you want, but when the ref sees the DB's pinky finger brushing against a wide receiver's arm hair, and that yellow flag comes out, I'm pissed!

TO to ATL how big of a possibility is this really i wonder?

Haha. True.
They should decrease the penalty. How bout 15 yards and first down. Instead of the regular rule.
That would easily make my temper less if it was like that. I guess in football, holding somebody back is more punishable than breaking somebodies neck from a facemask, or a personal foul.

Its not actually fair that offensive pass interference is like 15 yards and thats it, while the other way around could be like 40 yards. It should be both, if the WR disrupts the DB, it should be the amount of yardage that the WR committed the foul. Just think, a WR getting a 50 yard penalty on him. You think WR's will have the upperhand again?

It goes to show how good a CB is to a team. Aside from the QB, the DB's (CB's) are the hardest position to play.

Who would the Falcons give up from TO? I dont think they're is anybody on that team that would equal TO. But I wish it will happen, considering I'm a Cowboy fan.

EDIT: I dont think ATL wil take him, he costs way to much money. They're isnt a team out there who can afford TO. He's too much against the cap. The possible areas would be Denver, Packers. Both need WR's but who wants TO for the amount of money he wants, the mouth he has and how just bitches like an old woman. I hope Roy Williams breaks his ankles again.

well i dont know how possible a trade is, but TO mentioned ATL i think he would be a great fit there. amd the Eagles cant get a good trade for him anywhere.. the only one i heard a while back was TO for jerry Portter which wouldnt be horrible for the eagles. trade him for pearless price lol... and some draft picks and um a young defensive player or something.. cause ATL needs a WR more then any other team does.

But it isnt about the actual trade.
Its about TO's contract. Its soo huge that ATL will be over the salary cap, making any of those trades worthless.

They might need a WR, but not that much. Its probalby better to get a Jerry Porter instead of TO. He's such as a hassle. Second year in Philly and he's already complaing about money. It will be like this for ever. I can see the Ravens looking happy right now with Derrick Mason. Sure Philly went to the superbowl, but they did it without TO and if the Ravens had TO, they still wouldnt of came close.

I dont think you can Say Philly did it without TO the NFC is WEAK so the playoffs were not exactly that hard. Not to mention TO was key in getting them to the playoffs and home field advantage. Not to mention he played great in the superbowl. (i dont think much of TO and i hate the eagles just to make both of those facts clear) My one thing is though that NFL teams can change contracts if a player doesnt perform well, so why shouldnt players be able to get more for playing great? I guess its hard to have a clear view of .what exactly "outperforming a contract" would be... I dunno in some sports its crazy like grant hill made tons of money when he never played cause he was hurt.. so that kills the team so it sorta sucks both ways. TO is going to training camp though so who knows where this will end up. And I still think Randy Moss is better then him, and also a bigger pain in the ass then him.

I know im double posting thins, but just wanna make sure I get everyone who is interested.

I made a fantasy football league through espn so PM me or post your e-mail here and ill send ya an invite!

If you sign a contract, you should be oblige to uphold it. The team cant just rework the whole contract, but can release him.
I dont have ill feelings about that either, consider the real life jobs work on the same principle.

I also dont think that TO should complain considering he's making alot more money than most WR's out there. So, he thinks he's better than Harrison? I dont think so.

Well, me being an Eagles fan for my whole life, TO is really pissing me off. I really hope he is not on our team for long. I'm gonna quote him real fast. "I need more money to support my family." STFU you dont need anymore than you have. You're already a freakin millionaire. And i agree i think Moss is way better than him. I think Moss is a better playerthan Harrison too, but since Moss is a pain, than Harrison is the best choice. But i think TO is more of a pain than Moss is.

Oh and i heard this guy talking on ESPN and he made a great point.
"The Eagles will not trade TO. He will either play for the Eagles all season, or pay for nobody all season. They wont release or trade him. If he doesnt show up, then they will just fine him everyday he doesnt come."

Moss is probalby the best WR.

But I think harrison is right up there with him. Moss beats him in the physical department, but when it comes to intanigbles and basically everything else, Harrison is much better.

Once Moss gets old, I think you will see his productivity go straight down the shitter because he relies to heavily on his phyiscal tools. (Not saying thats a bad thing, it obviously made him what he is). But with Harrison, he gets by on route runner, some of the best hands in the game, and big smarts.

harrison has more tools like Rice had/has but moss is definantly an amazing athlete. But I agree with you that moss's productivity will decline quickly with age. you wanna do the fantasy league too smasandian?

Sure, Ill send a PM with my email.

Ricky williams appologized for leaving his team.. would you trust him if you were his teamate? And what type of roll will he play especially after them drafing a RB who should be good.

(by the way still got some slots for fantasy football if ur interested lemme know)

Yeah, its a story alright.
I wouldnt trust him, but it doesnt really matter considering he is not the main guy anymore. If he doesnt work, oh well.
I think he will be the main runner again. He's still healthy and probalby powerful again. It might take awhile, but if he the old Ricky Williams, I cant see Saban not playing him. They have a quality backup with Brown. Or vice versa.

You cant have too many RB's, especially tough ones too.

Yeah. It's just too bad the QB choices down there are Frerotte and Feely!

I'm up for the Fantasy Football unless it's like $30 or something like that.

Yeah, it doesnt help.

Next year, I can see the Dolphins getting Lienart, if they do bad.

i thought the 49's should have taken the WR from USC and just got eh #1 again next year and taken lienart..

by the way it doesnt look like i can edit to draft time.. so i might remake it to change it but i have to pick a time when i make it so what days time frame work for everyone? You can pre rank your players if you cant be there though cause im sure it wont work for everyone...

Looks like Saban's already got to a rookie: 😂
