I know its bad.
I like the Eagles position of **** 'em.
I think they still have a possiblity of finishing first in the NFC and getting to the Superbowl. They're defense is great, McNabb will be McNabb and they have two RB's and one RB is very good at catching the ball.
I think they should try to get another WR somehow, tell Owens that he can come back and play if he wants, and then if he doesnt, withhold his contract. Prove to the fans, that the team counts and not the just one player.
Im sorry to say Owens, your not the best WR out there. Harrison and Moss are.
If I hear one more sports report with the letters T and O in them on any sportscast, I'm going to personally come to wherever the broadcast is being shot and shove Owens himself up their asses.
Anyone else in favor of getting REAL NFL news back to the airwaves instead of reporting about T.O.'s bath ritual, his low IQ, his overhyped self, etc....?
Greg Lewis ran the wrong route, that's why Willie Williams got that TD. Lewis isn't a starter (though he might be soon enough, though). Regardless, just another sage in the dominance the West side of the Keystone exhibits over the East side. I don't care if it's preseason, regular season, or the Super Bowl, they usually pound the Eagles.
even if he runs the wrong route mcnabb should be able to see he wasnt in the right place what does he do close his eyes then throw it where he thinks the guy should be? Greg Lewis is a starter now either at #1 or atleast at #2 The eagles may be setting a good standard, but losing your number 1,2 and 3 recievers in a year. You cant expect to win.
Predictions:
AFC:
Afc west - Chargers. Clearly the best team in the division.
Afc north - I'll go with pittsburgh, but won't be surprised if baltmore wins it. The big question is can ben duplicate last year.
Afc south - Indy. No brainer.
Afc east - Pats, though with all their losses, it could open the door for the jets
Wildcard- Jets/ravens
NFC:
Nfc east - Philly. It will be interesting to see how T.O. will bounce back after his injury and contract dispute, and if he even comes back, and the loss of pinkston.
Nfc north - Shootout between the vikings and packers. Even with the loss of moss, min should be able to come out on top with an improved defense.
Nfc west - Who cares? They'll be bounced in the first round
Nfc south - Atlanta. another year for vick to grow, and an already outstanding defense has been upgraded.
Wild card: Packers/Panthers
Playoffs:
Afc:
Wc round
Chargers over ravens
Steelers over jets
Divisional round:
Indy over steelers
Pats over chargers
Afc champ:
Colts beat pats.
NFC:

Panthers over vikings

Panthers over eagles
NFC champ:
