Regarding the jersey thing, I was talking about this to a guy last night. I think we came up with the idea to just get a nameless jersey with a random number on it. Say, #22. Then, whoever is wearing #22 for that year, you only have to make the name patch and stitch it in on the back.

On the negative side of it, your "favorite" player is always the guy wearing #22. On the positive, you don't have to throw away your jersey every other year.

Meh, I'll just keep it. I never wear it out of the house so people don't think I'm a redneck, and that football jersey's are not very nice looking in public. (Unlike soccer jerseys)

Warner resigns

A month ago, this could have meant he retired.
Now, it means he's still playing.

Funny how the English language works.

its not surprising at all

the db roy williams may be gone soon as well

And the Cowboys take a 9 million dollar cap hit.

The move made no sense to me.

But now I'm wondering what is next for T.O.? He's still going to get his money from Dallas, so that might not be a big factor. I would definitely root for New England if they signed him. Don't know if they would take the risk, but seeing as how they accepted Moss, who knows?

Imagine if he goes to Indianapolis. 😱

Wherever he ends up, I just hope it's with an accurate QB.

I think I would move to New Orleans if he signed with the Saints.

pats really dont need him with moss and welker, colts would have a larger need but I dont think it would happen. Manning has worked with 2 of the greatest WR in the league and both just put up and shutup dont think he would tolerate a diva. Ravens could really use him, I would like to see him go there and then have some of the boys on that Defense straighten him out when he steps out of line.

There is a huge difference between Moss and Owens. Moss only tries his hardest if he is on a good team, so it was not a risk at all for the Patriots to get him since they are a good team. Owens always tries hard, but he self-destructs every team he plays for and is the worst possible teammate and is a jerkoff and the list goes on.

I hope he retires(like there is any chance of that) 😆 But then again I won't be able to laugh at him anymore when he drops passes and cries about how its everybody's fault but his.

The thing that pisses me off the most about this is the Cowboys did this about a week too late. Had they done it earlier, they could have made a bid for T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Now it's too late.

Pretty sure they knew what they were doing and would not of been involved with TJ either way. They gave up a shit ton of draft picks for Roy Williams saying loud and clear he was their #1 WR for the future.

Yeah, they don't need TJ, and they don't have the cash. They can easily be competitive with Williams, Austin, Crayton and maybe a draft pick, or somebody on the cheap.

They need safeties.

They definitely don't have the cash now that they cut Williams and Owens.

What was the cap hit when they cut Williams?

They cap hit for everything they have done this offseason is about 20 million of dead cap space.

But they said they still have about 14 million dollars to spend in free agency, and I don't know if that includes the needed Ware contract resigning, or the Brooking signing.

T.O. to the Bills. 1 year 6.5 million dollar deal. I think that means he's going to be making 20 million total this season. That is crazy.

Yea i wouldnt mind getting fired and still getting my full pay for the year so I can get a new job and make double.

Hope it works out

Well TO doesnt handle losing well so I dont see it working out.

I don't see it either. Having TO isn't going to magically make them better and TO is going to eat Jauron for breakfest.

What the? Did he not make Philly and Dallas better when he joined them?

Of course he is going to make Buffalo better. The question is, just how much?

The offense is going to be dynamic. That is for sure.

TO is a great WR so yes he will make them better by giving them a new weapon. The question is will his skills on the field out weigh the damage he does on the locker room. So far (on much better teams) that answer is always no.
