Lol @ Buffalo (Or Toronto. More lulz.).

Of course he is going to make Buffalo better. The question is, just how much?

The offense is going to be dynamic. That is for sure.

The defense is decent, the o-line was crap and Edwards is not McNabb, Romo or Garcia.

TO is a great player, but you need somebody to throw it at him.

TO doesn't destroy the locker room until year 2, and this is only a 1 year deal. But it is also a worse team and worse QB then he's used too, so the locker room wrecking might come earlier.

And worst coach.

T.O. to the Bills.

Just off the top of my head, if someone had told me to start listing teams that T.O. would've ended up with, I would have probably listed Buffalo 400th, including after Dallas, Philly, S.F. and even cites that don't have teams. That's how weird that is to me. 🤨

I can sort of picture him in the Grazing Buffalo uniform, but not so much in that half-white, half-blue disaster they call an away uniform. Actually, I try to avoid any thought about any "white" jersey that could pass for a dark jersey during an aerial view.

Cardinals have this white jersey phobia, too - and that's strange because once their away (and home) jerseys were all white.

T.O. to the Bills. 1 year 6.5 million dollar deal. I think that means he's going to be making 20 million total this season. That is crazy.

It won't take long for him to act up

well ala manny he may put up because he wants the money next year.

Didn't think this deserved its own thread, but who's ready for the October 2009 debut of the United Football League?

Oh, yeah. Well, I was browsing the website, and they have online player, coaching, and agent applications on the site if you'd like to participate.

The site also gives "fans" a chance to submit potential team nicknames. The (4) 2009 markets are Las Vegas/LA, New York/Hartford, Orlando, SF/Sacramento. Don't know why it isn't Orlando/Tampa, but whatever. They will be playing on Thursday and Friday nights on Versus Channel.

I'm going to submit "NY/Hartford Houligans."

They were talking about it on Mike & Mike this morning (that's how I know about it, obviously), and they said not only will Fassell and Denny Green be coaches, but they might be trying to lure Mike Vick to play.

So fill out your player form and maybe you'll get a chance to sack Mike Vick...or some other schmuck who filled out an online form.

Okay, it's official. On March 10th at 8:15 AM EST, I submitted the name Orlando Scorchers. So I'd better get box seats if I win.

OK, last post on this, but here are the ones I submitted:

Orlando Scorchers
Hartford Houligans
Monterrey Mystique
Las Vegas Vengeance
Orlando Squall
Los Angeles Disturbance
and my fave, the Las Vegas Crappers

wow its amazing.

We keep Hill, we actually sign TJ, and now we actually trade Peterson away. Everything I wanted to happen has happened. Only im not sure about getting Corry Redding and a 5th round pick in return. We need a big massive DT to help out up front not sure Redding is that guy. But I guess this means they are not taking BJ Raji at 4 who I really liked.

I guess now we can go a lot of ways with an OT like Eugene Monroe, or a hybrid D player like Orakpo (who I think is gonna be a monster) or possibly even a QB in Sanchez/Stafford. (hope they dont go there)

A QB pick wouldn't be a bad idea. Hasselback is getting up there and having a QB groomed is a pretty damn good thing to have.

The QB is the most important part of your team, so it wouldn't be a bad option.

Yea its not a bad idea but im not quite ready to give up on Hasselbeck and Seneca has proven he can play if needed. I would still prefer to fill an immediate need and be a front runner at the West again. But if Hasselbeck has another injury plagued year then yea QB becomes priority 1.

I guess, but he is 33 years old and he's always had some sort of injury related body part during his career.

Anybody can be the front runner in the West. The Cardinals did go to the SB, but I think its a one shot deal.

Getting a QB, when you have a chance to not throw him to the wolves, I think they should take. A physical freak on defense is always good, but a stud young QB learning from the one of the better QB's in the past 5 years is another.

Yea I wouldnt hate the move. Really the way the offseason has gone they can take one of several positions and I will be pretty happy. I am glad they have made moves to give them options.

Yeah, it's always nice having your team make good offseason moves.

I'm pretty happy what the Cowboys did this offseason.

I am sure everyone heard about Stallworth killing a pedestrian with his car. Just heard on ESPN he was legally drunk at the time. Tragic story and likely the end of his football career and life outside of jail for the next 20 years or so.

****ing idiot.

I assume you mean tragic story for the person who was hit right?

oh yea not for the moron who is gonna rot in jail.

With the United Football League's new work-release program, maybe Stallworth will be suiting up for the Orlando Scorchers this fall.
