Raiders finally got a win. I still think they have a shot at the playoffs. They're 1-3 but they had the toughest opening three games I've ever seen facing the both Superbowl teams in their yard and a good Kansas City team while almost winning in each game.
The defense is much improved especially on the run. The secondary is ok, nothing special. Their main problem is they don't get much pressure on the QB and the P word.
Collins has actually been very smart with the ball with no interceptions on the year, but I think he's been a little too passive at times when he should just throw the ball up to Moss and see what happens. 2 out of 5 times Moss is either going to catch it and draw a penalty. I like Jordan a lot, he hasn't been great on rushing but he's starting to improve and he's a good receiver and an excellent blocker.
It all comes down to whether they can be disciplined and not take dumb penalties. The talents there but so far the brain's not.

as a skins fan, that hurts me deeply, there defense is solid and brunell is making things happen, look at the highlights at skins.com and tell me that brunell looks bad..... he is back to his old form. He even scampered for a 20 yard run yesterday, the old guy still has it
Bad week in picks for me lol
I almost bet for the Chargers to beat New England...but I also almost bet on the Bengals too...and they didnt beat the spread. So its like I bet on both really cuz I came out even lol.
anyway

Yeah same could be said about the Bengals. Everybody needs to stop treating them like they're a great team. They've had a coup cake schedule so far. If they start beating good teams, then I'll start to believe the hype. [/QUOTE]
You do have to give them this....
If they had played a game like that in the past, they would have lost.
Take it for what you will. =) Also they have went 11-3 their last 14 games. They are more believable then the Skins...Joe Gibbs is a senile idiot. Mark Brunell...lol.
Ok here are my Week 5 Picks.
Baltimore at Detroit - wow....Check out the entertainment value here!! Baltimore wins 2 in a row.
Chicago at Cleveland - see Above! Cleveland for the upset...I think? (They are worse right? lol)
Miami at Buffalo - Miami...Did you know they were on top of their division!? lol
New England at Atlanta - I dont know...On one hand Atlanta plays Great at home. On another...will Bill let his boys lose twice in a row? I think he has no say...Atlanta wins.
New Orleans at Green Bay - New Orleans. This Bi-polar team is hard to guess though...one minute they are good, the next they stink.
Seattle at St. Louis - Ill flip a coin....St.Louis
Tampa Bay at N.Y. Jets - Tampa Bay...Future NFC champs?
Tennessee at Houston - Houston's new OC looked like he knew what the hell he was doing against the Bengals...I have to give him credit. Carr didn't look so bad, but was still sacked 7 times!!! Texans get their first win at home. Unless Chris Brown has a BIG Game.
Indianapolis at San Francisco - Peyton Manning was on my opponents Fantasy team this past week...he threw for lots of points! I STILL WON! lol , I picked up Neil Rackers who scored 6 Field goals and 1 Xp lol. anyway Colts win...
Carolina at Arizona - Speaking of Neil Rackers! lol Kick some more. he is hot property right now in Fantasy Football. Carolina delivers TEH SPANK.
Philadelphia at Dallas - Eagles , even if Donovan Mcnabb plays with one Arm and a broken Leg.
Washington at Denver - I want to pick Denver...I dont like the Skins too much. Its just that...........Aw Ill pick Denver. I cant think of any reason not to. They beat Jacksonville.
Cincinnati at Jacksonville - Speaking of which...Cincinnati wins. They hopefully learn not to self implode with penalties.
Monday, Oct. 10 Pittsburgh at San Diego - San Diego by 20 lol.

bengals are a good team. Granted they havnt had a real hard schedule.. but they have won and they won at the end of last year as well.
plus they put up more points on the road against the browns then the COLTS did. also put up 24 on the bears D and crushed minesota. And they held on vs the Texans when both of their centers got hurt.

I live in maryland, and am surrounded by skins fans they even admit that they are not worthy of 3-0. Bottom line they won that game because of a blown pass interference call and mike holmgren not moving the ball into the middle of the field for the FG. They are looking better as time goes on, but they still are not great.
WEEK 5:
Baltimore at Detroit - Ravens
Chicago at Cleveland - Browns (Bears are the underdog to correct you, browns are 3 point favorites)
Miami at Buffalo - Dolphins keep rolling.
New England at Atlanta - ATL assuming of course Vick is ok
New Orleans at Green Bay - GB all the way.. 0-5 and at home.. NO WAY
Seattle at St. Louis - Shaun Alexander.. thats all i need to say
Tampa Bay at N.Y. Jets - Tampa Bay.. only cause of jets QB issues.. TB is not actually that good, barely beat GB and only beat Lions cause the refs blew it.
Tennessee at Houston - ugly vs ugly.. titans have shown potential to play well.. texans have not.. titans win.
Indianapolis at San Francisco - Colts by 50?
Carolina at Arizona - Panthers
Philadelphia at Dallas - Eagles, cowboys lost to skins, raiders, barely beat 9'rs.. only beat chargers cause gates was out and they didnt give LT the ball enough.. basicly cowboys BLOW
Washington at Denver - Denver is playing good, and plummer keeps getting better, and its at home for them.. Denver easy.
Cincinnati at Jacksonville - Cinci
Pittsburgh at San Diego - Chargers have been steam rolling.. Should be a good game.. Ill pick Pitt but i think chargers have the edge.

with the parody in the nfl, i really don't think you can think the skins are that bad, seriously, check out the highlights at redskins.com, defense is real good, and brunell is moving the ball. If the run comes up a bit more, we're looking real good

i dont need to watch the highlights ive seen ever skins game live.. i live between DC and Baltimore. OK the Skins arnt the worst team in the world. But they for sure are not a very good one either. They beat a bad bears team without even scoring a TD. They beat dallas who is playing like pure crap, and beat seattle because of the refs. You will see the real calibur of the skins this week in Denver. Their D has ONE interception and THREE fumbles recovered thats it. Individual players have more then that on other teams. They have a -4 Turnover ratio in only 3 games. They are also in the bottom of the pack in yards per play.. you keep saying watch highlights. Highlights show you a few good plays.. watch the entire game and you see the truth. Their D is allowing one of the highest 3rd down conversion % in the league as well. Brunell is also among the leaders in yards lost because of being sacked and hes had less games then most others. Brunells timing is still bad a lot of the time as well.
I think ive backed up my point enough, so yea if you want to see some good plays go watch highlights of ANY team.. even 0-4 packers have great highlights, if you want the full story watch the game and look at the numbers.

Who Lost to the Skins? Besides the Cowboys, Bears, and Seahawks lol. Wasnt sure if you were talking to me, but I was talking about the browns not losing to a bad team yet.
But yeah I agree...Skins are lucky to be 3-0.

Get used to it, lol. VIck will have similar issues every season, atleast something minor will always occur. He seemed fine to come back in last game but why risk it when they had blow out the vikes already. And I actually differ on Schuab. I think he is a very capable QB. However he is more of a pocket QB and they dont exactly have a good WR core to help him out in that regard. Vick atleast looks to be fine at the moment gonna need to be carefull though.
and yea pez i was talkin about the bears, i sorta like the browns think they will have an overall decent year, atleast compared to what was expected of them.
Yeah even though I hate the Browns, They always are underrated.Mostly because they lost cuz tim Couch sucked. Now they got a pretty good QB in Trent Dilfer. Definately an upgrade.
Is anyone else surprised Billy Volek isn't getting a shot? he could be a starter for alot of teams...he is the best backup QB imo...2nd is Jon Kitna.
kitna? what about Tommy Maddux? Aaron rodgers, alex smith (smith just became a starter though) i think seneca wallace could be good too.
But I agree about Vollek I just dont think they want to bench mcnair. and they wont trade him cause they know mcnair is in bad shape and maybe not a lot of time left.
Im not a huge fan of Tommy Maddox...and the others are rookies, so I wouldnt say they were among the best of backups. Tommy Maddux is ok though. Kinda like a lesser Kurt Warner...Just can't quite make the plays.
Although I would like to see how he does with a chip on his shoulder, being benched and outplayed by a rookie! =)
yeah and not to mention the Bengals won 11 of their last 15 games.
