I believe there are no significant injuries to speak of, so whoever wins should definately deserve it.

That's correct, although I don't like your term "bungholes", whoever wins deserves to represent the AFCN. =) I hope it's a good game regardless. Although I'm rooting for Cincy!

Well, you might like the term better if you were rooting for a team who was constantly referred to as the "Squeelers" or "Sh*tsburgh" by other AFC North fans.

Anyways, should be the best game of the weekend by far. Can't wait until 4:30 Sunday!

Dude I'm a Bengals fan lol thats ALL I had the last 15 years...cept most the time, even the offseasons were as bad as the seasons.

Anyway to the Guy who said no way the Bengals beat the Steelers...whatever. It could go either way and everyone knows that. Bengals did Give up alot of yards to Kansas City, but I think that was largely do to the fact that KC has an amazing offensive line (which Pittsburghs has been off and on all year.). So like Smasandian said. Whoever Jumps out ahead first will most likely win. (our Offense is our best Defense! =P If they have to catch up, they have to pass.. and we got a decent secondary...last time I checked they like to intercept balls.) Anyway I cant wait!

Thats true.It could go either way. This is the NFL.Anything can happen.I have to agree that whoever jumps out first will probably win.As much as I want the steelers to win since they are my favorite team,I just cant pick them after last weeks game against Detroit. Here they were with a playoff game at stake and their defense came out flat and uninspired.Their defense has been inconsistant all year long and I think that will cost them in the playoffs against cincy.

yeah but "Squeelers" is lame anyway. So I wouldn't let that bother me.

I seriously think whoever wins this game, might just cruise into the Superbowl. What bigger high could u get than beating your division rival that you fought it out with in the season!?

Maybe, having a son die, and the teams plays for the son and the coach they really respect.

Sh#tsburgh huh? thats a new one for me,never heard that one.Living here in KC I have heard Squeelers many times before because I get a lot of crap from chiefs fans when my steelers lose and since I refer to the chiefs as the kansas city clowns.yeah when they come back with squeelers,I can only laugh because yeah thats pretty lame.Fortunately they havent been smart enough yet to come up with sh#ts burgh yet.At least not here in KC.

How is death motivating? If anything its a hinderance. Plus Peyton always trys to win it by himself, and just makes big mistakes.

wow what a horrible game. I hope Palmer rebounds. Torn ACL And torn MCL is not good.

It's pretty motivating actually, especially if the kid is nice and all.

Can't you just see the huddles or locking room WITHOUT Dungy with them.
"Let's win this for Dungy's kid (I forgot his name)".

It probalby made the team closer, which maybe makes them play better.

Boy the wild card games sure were crap. Anyways...

Colts over Steelers (should be close though)

Pats over Broncos (I just have no faith in Jake against the Pat's defense. You know Belichick's defense is going to take away the run and make Jake throw passes he doesn't want to make)

Bears over Panthers (I don't trust the Panthers. They seem a little too inconcessent.)

Skins' over Seahawks (my upset pick. Seattle just doesn't impress me. It's not their fault, but they've had a cup cake schedule throughout the year and the Skins' have an excellent defense.)

It makes me sick to my stomach about Carson Palmer =(. i hope he recovers and it doesnt stay with him. I know it wasn't intentional, but man it made me mad that it had to happen.

yeah true, but it could also have the reverse affect on Dungy. And if he is down, the players may also be down. I don't think thats the case though, I want the Colts to win it all now that Bengals were eliminated.

So far the playoffs have really bad. Hopefully that will change though. The best game was easily the Bucs game.

Again, who i want to win will be on the right, and who I think will win on the left.

Redskins/Seahawks

Panthers/Panthers

Broncos/Patriots

Colts/Colts

Yes, that was unfortunate. There were two accidental hits on QB's knees this season in this series. In week 13, Odell Thurman hit Ben's knee, and yesterday Von Oelhoffen hit Palmer's knee.

I know the Steelers are going to have their hands full with Indy (and then some); I hope they strategize better this time and maybe get a pass rush going before halftime in the rematch.

Definitly.
It could and might have a reverse effect.

At first, that hit look intentional. But after the replay, it didnt. The reaction from the player who hit him was pretty telling how good a character he was. He knew what happened, and he felt horrible about it. (From what it looked liked)

My picks.
Colts over Steelers (Steelers pass defense does not look to good), but it will be a tough game.
Pats over Broncos (No way Bronco will be albe to beat the defense)
Skins over Seattle ( Skins are hot right now )
Panthers over Bears ( Panthers are scary when they have everything clicking, this time they will, and really Bears do have an amazing defense but their QB situation isnt very good, and you win playoffs with defense and a QB that can play, and not give away any mistakes)

I cant wait for Redskins vs Seattle!! eventhough i dont thnk we'll win...lol but you never kno i mean theyve won 6 in a row! But @ the same time Seattle only lost 1 home game this year. However we did beat them last time! cant wait for that game! ^_^

New England and Denver is a classic waiting to happen. As far as the other game, it's too bad Steelers vs. Dolts is in a dome. *sigh* when will the owners ever learn? At least Houston's bubble is retractable.

True.
RCA Dome was built during the time of the indoor stadiums.
Same in Toronto with the Skydome. It was soo cool in the early 90's, but to watch a game there, it kinda sucks. Bring back grass.

Smasandian, how we doing on our picks we made at the beginning of the season? I haven't checked, have you?

all the #1 seeds will win this week.

The closest one will be Bears vs Panthers, but NE will give Denver a run for their money too.
