The theory I'm working with is that it's a universe - Universe 52, Earth-52, etc. Afterall, the Guadians wanted to question SBP on the matter and he is the only person currently around with full memory and knowledge of the old multiverse.

This is just my theory and I'm not big into DC so I could be very wrong.

I think being around with Alexander Luther for so long will be main reason they want to interrogate him.

In the last issue he wipes out the entire country single handedly in about 36 hours i think. They said casualties were in the millions.

How come none of the US superheroes came to stop the genocide? The comic stated that he killed men, women and children in the millions. While very few heroes can stand up to Adam, green lantern could have surely arrived their in time and at least try.

I wondered that too. This is part of an interview from newsarama that kinda touches on it.

"NRAMA: Touching upon the guilt angle again - he's had what, the better part of two days to decimate Bialya. Why has no one stepped in? Were all the heroes' hands tied by politics? After all, there was no more "Bialya" after say, 12 hours, to oppose heroes of other nations coming in... the idea of the JSA and other heroes by doing nothing, "letting" Adam do this kind of leaves a bitter taste in the mouth...

Politics and red tape prevented the heroes from going over to help? That is very out of character - Alan Scott would never let that stop him from preventing genocide.

That's what I thought too. Hopefully they'll give a better explanation in the next issue.

yeah, with checkmate answering to the UN now, and other nations creating thier own army of metahumans, US based heroes are severly restricted i mean think about it.....GL has been having run ins with the rocket reds everytime he flies in russian air space, and black adam himslef almost took out powergirl for violating air space in the 2nd issue i believe.

I thought the art really stepped up a notch in this issue. I could've used a little more action though.

Torturing BA like that will only increase his wrath.....which should make the final issues of 52 quite violent.

Does anybody know what ongoing comic books will be coming out of 52?
