Adam killing Smasher would show some things, mainly that Adam can't justify himself and that he won't take shit from people trying to make him. And while I think that would be pretty cool I also don't want Atom Smasher to die, especially since he just asked the question that needed to be asked.

Osiris was just his own power returning to him and Isis had some nice weather powers, some unimpressive TK and umm, ummm.....yeah.

He may have been influenced when he went into that country after the Horseman, and went all medieval on their asses.

He didn't get mind controlled until afterwards.

And it seems he's already out of the mind control.

The mind control device was just to keep him calm while they tried to sell him to the highest bidder.

It seems he's done everything else under his own volition.
