my man, if you live by that judgement, then you are an inefficient combatant. simple as that.
does the term over-kill mean anything to you?
why do you thing cops don't carry magnum calibre weaponry 😉

I'd rather do something that is majorly damaging to the attacker and know with certainty that if it works, the attacker will be put to the floor in defeat, than do something that is minimaly damaging and take a chance that it might not work.

Cops should carry magnum weapons. They need them. Especially in the inner cities.

well we simply don't agree then.

i apologize Dexx...it's just really upsetting that guys like that think they are right....

Taekwondo is known for its kicks and footwork. If you watch an Olympic style sparring tournament, you might think that hand attacks, or even blocks, are not allowed. However, the primary weapons of humans, other than their brains (for some at least), are their arms and hands, not their legs. The body exists to maintain and protect the brain, Legs are used to transport the brain. It is the arms and hands that permit the brain to exert its will upon the world. If an expert hands-only fighter faces an expert legs-only fighter fighter, the hands-only fighter will win every time. The hand is quicker than the eye!

Just a little facts i thought the martial artists here at KMC should know...

oh..i dunno.
i remember some martial artists that were famous for only training their legs. ofcourse..it's best to be an all-rounder. kicks are extremely useful in a fight

But the olympics ... well most of the fighters for taekwondo were crap any way! 😕

But, I train my legs/kicks not my arms. i hardly use them to block. I dont really. I step/slide back and counter them 😉 No need for blocking or using of the hands

well here's a link about TKD, so if you have any questions this site should help you greatly!

I don't really have any questions about my won sport 😉

Hi yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

the best martial arts combination is here..... TKD, Judo, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Tai Chi, and las but not least, Aikido.....

err...what makes you think that? also how is that possible? wouldnt mastering all those arts take a lifetime?

a life time for each 😛..except boxing
and tai chi is not a martial art...it's a form of working the energy inside your body, and enhance it.
all martial arts use some for of tai chi..one way or another...doubly so for aikido, out of those. the rest are more...contact sports.

kickboxing shouldn't take long..... TKD about 16 years, Judo about 6 years and Muay Thai about 9 years....I'm still very young, so i have time...

i'm already on 2 1/2 years on TKD
and 11 months of Judo

well you can never reach a maxinum in neither....regardless of training time. one can improve, deppending on the person...but you can't say that after 'x' amount of years, i've reached the top in this martial art.

also how are you managing this? i mean your learning all of these arts at the same time...wouldnt it get confusing? i mean i heard Fearnix took a bunch at the same time and he regretted it since it was too much at one time.
