Last Saturday I graded and got my Blue Belt in Kiai Yamabushi Ryu Ju Jitsu, which means I'm now allowed to use a real Katana for sword work instead of a Bokken so I just orderd myself a Paul Chen Practical Pro Katana which I pick up next Wednesday!
This page has a nice pic of the one I've ordered -
competition at disney on OCTOBER 28-30...It's a tournament!

i have a bokken and i play with it from time to time 🙂
Yeah I've been doing it about 18 months now 😄
I have a bokken but I've just come into a small some of money so I thought I'd treat myself to reasonably decent real sword while I have the money.

Cool! I'd love to practice sword-fighting, but I don't have the time at the moment...
I have been practicing Kempo for 7 years, which included knife and stick fighting, but that's not as neat as a real sword
