Speed won't be much of an advantage since Venom has 360 degree vision, and he's not gonna hurt Venom very much unless he's laying down 100 class punches, that is if he doesn't break his arm and his leg due to the strain of opening the five gates. Most likely, Lee will get caught in one of Venom's tendrils, and have his head popped off like a bottle cap.

I've seen the venom vs sandman fight. Somehow i doubt gaara's defense is going to crumble to pieces if venom takes a bite out of it.

Rock Lee is faster in running speed than Venom is, so he can cut the distance between them, but his attacking speed isn't all that quick it seems. Venom will be able to avoid his attacks to get a a KO or web him IMO.

Whether he's being hit repeatedly or not isn't the point, seeing as how Lee probably isn't more than a 10 tonner. Blunt force never works against Venom unless it's from an immensely strong opponent such as Juggernaut, and even then he's not going down without a good brawl.

Not to mention Venom can also camoflage himself, which would be advantageous with his speed. I don't know any stats on Lee (save the fight against Gaara), but Venom has dodged bullets and even "chased" them in order to save his ex-wife from being shot. He has also tagged the Hulk from behind, despite the fact that he started out in front of him and was at least ten feet away, and the Hulk is no slouch in the speed dept.

Venom is far too versatile against Lee, and I still feel that he bites through Gaara's little sand shield. Seeing as how Lee's attacks were cracking it, Venom's hits will all but shatter it, which won't matter much since he'll be able to get to Gaara the moment his shield starts to crack and Venom sends a tendril through it to him.

Just saw episode 6-7 of Shippuden, and I have to say that I'm starting to have doubts about Venom beating Gaara...

I mean, in the last episode I watched Gaara used hsi sand to make a shield so large that it covered the entire city, and then protected it from the equivalent of a Nuclear Bomb. If Gaara's shield-spread otu as far as it was- could withstand a Nuclear Explosion, I don't see Venom getting past it when the shield is actually concentrated.

Okay Lee may not be able to beat him but I still don't see Venom catching him either. But if Venom did Lee would be dead. So Venom could win easier then Lee. But no way is Venom beating Gaara. I never seen the Sandman vs Venom fight but what does Sandman got to do with Gaara's sand? Sandman is basically living sand so if his bites did anything to Sandman that's not going to mean he's going to do anything to Gaara's sand. Also Gaara's got his sand armor if he does get past the shield plus sand replica. Don't know if Venom can be killed by Sand Coffin but he's going to be put in it. I can't really say for sure if Gaara could kill Venom but Venom isn't getting to Gaara.

Venom vs. post-time skip Gara

Gaara, definently.

Venom will have a chance at best of beating Gaara when his punches are more powerful then a Nuclear Explosion going off at point blank range.

Post-time Skip Gaara has his demon still at the beginning. And I can't really say how he'd do without Shukaku inside him because it never shows him fight yet so his abilities are still a mystery. Does he still have the sand shield? If he does will he have to control it now? A lot of questions. I think its yes to both and if it is then he'd have to use his chakra a lot more to keep it up and Venom could probably get through it and beat him. But until he's actually shown doing anything without Shukaku nobody will know.
