I agree. I liked DC's heros better when they couldn't punch holes in reality. It makes the whole thing really, really stupid. And it overshadows weaker yet just as intresting characters (At least in my opnion) What is their for Batman to do when people like Supes can fly faster then light, can hear things planets away etc.

I agree. It's seems that every time Supes is brung up, people tend to whine, saying that he's to overpowered. But when ever characters like Thor, Thanos, Surfer, DBZ (countless other manga) do something similar, people have no problem with it. 🙂

Superman is a crime fighter with nigh cosmic abilities. Yet, here he is fighting the likes of Toyman?! That's like having Surfer fight Spider-Mans villians.

It was stated that Supes is a cosmic being and Supes beat cosmic level beings all the time. Toyman won't fight Supes without using prep and his weakness against him, just Lex.

He takes planet destroying attacks, goes through black holes and held one, has unlimited potential, and fight with cosmics. He's powerful enough to be considered a cosmic (which was stated by Brainiac 13 btw in OWAW).

Your missing the point, the fact he's a cosmic is DC wanking him. The guy was never created as a cosmic he simply became one. Sort of how wolverine became immortal.

Well now he is. He's grown to be considered a cosmic now. You can't expect him to stay the same when he's a character made to get more powerful.
DBZ characters are wayy STRONGER than supes, supes has difficulty in destroying large moons enraged. even pre supersayin goku cud destroy larger planets than earth and supersayin 4 can easily destroy solar systems while i heard sumwhere that gogeto can actually destroy galaxies. so in every way, far above superman or surfer level.

Because Marvel probably doesn't want them to be. But both Hulk and Spiderman (Spiderman doesn't need to make web cardridges anymore and has increase in strength from class 15 to 20, his senses has increased and he has a new suit) have gotten upgrades. Surfer has recently just gotten an upgrade in anniallation. All this information can be found out in their respect threads.

Your missing the point, I'm aware that they are stronger now. But, compared to boost Superman's has gotten it's nothing.

Superman has been clocked at speeds far faster than light, there is no evidence that places DBZ characters at even 1% of lightspeed. Superman can move moons and planets with pure physical strength, Goku had trouble with 40 tons. Superman takes planet - destroying and even supernova - level and galaxy - destroying attacks head - on all the time and keeps coming, not to mention his heat vision is precise and concentrated enough to target individual atoms. After sundipping he was capable of pushing War World back across the solar system, against the power of its engines, which had the full power of Imperiex, who had the power of the Big Bang plus all of the galaxies he had consumed. Not to mention he has T-Vo, which is basically reality - warping.
As for Surfer, he can go back in time and take out people before they even become a threat, move millions of times lightspeed, fly through supernovae and black holes, transmute people and things, turn people into black holes, fly through white holes (which have basically infinite energy), destroys planets as a side - effect of his fights (while DBZ characters going all - out on each other only leave a few craters in a desert area spanning a few hundred kilometers across on one planet), warp space and time, absorb energy and redirect it, regenerate, and in one instance he absorbed an attack that would have destroyed half of the universe and threw it back.
