Metal Gear Solid 4

I had been lurking here for almost two entire years prior to joining. Was as much not obvious?

Anyways, back to Vamp, wasn't the way he could run up walls and stuff explained by the technology in his boots or something, or at least suggested as a possibility by Otacon? It's exactly what The Frogs used to do the same.

Yeah, I heard that conversation. Though to me it's unlikely, since the Frog's have those claws on their feet, and Vamp doesn't in MGS2. Unless he had it under, but wouldn't his boots have been destroyed then?

Another thing I don't get is Liquid's arm, which in the last fight seems to be an arm of the same muscle technology that Snake's suit is equipped with (if not stronger). How the hell did that happen? In MGS2 it clearly wasn't like that....

I think Ocelot chops it off after MGS2 in favor of a robotic arm, which is when he brainwashes himself so they still think he is liquid.

What I don't understand is why Eva longingly embraced Solidus' dying body when she was fully aware of who it actually was. Seems to be an inconsistency.

I dont understand why you made another account.

Well I didn't, but who really cares anyway? "Why so serious?"

Wouldn't he still be a son to her? Didn't she tell Snake she loved him? I believe that is more than enough reason for her to embrace the corpse of one of her sons.

Ocelot removed it, because Liquid really did took over his body in the events of MGS2. He fitted it with a new arm that had artificial muscle.

Anyway, yeah, I really wonder what the deal was with The End. Why was he even using tranquillizers? Was he resistant to kill Snake, or did the Boss tell him? Weird guy...

He most likely wanted a challenge that could surpass him before he would die.
Anyways, who has a animal rank online yet?

Oh, he removed it? Where did it say that, must've totally missed it.

I think it was the MGS4 database.
Another thing is, if you look closely the arm looks like it's made of the muscle that Metal Gear Ray and Gekko have.
edit: Liquid's voice not returning and the bar code on the arm being gone is a hint to this.

The MGS database you can download I believe.

So of all the final boss battles out of the MGS games which would you say was your favorite? I think my favorite was MGS4's. Liquid Ocelot vs. Old Snake was just plain epic.

The fight itself was lacking, but the way it was presented was incredibly epic. It aggravated me by introducing an entirely new mechanic(though mostly CQC) in the very last part of the game. lol

hehe, yeah. The fight was more or less just me beating the shat out of liquid but slamming his head into a pole was nonetheless awesome. MGS3 fight was a close second for me though. The boss was the hardest enemy in any MGS game I think. And you had to beat in her 6 minutes so it made things more difficult.

On the subject of the last fight, anyone else think Ocelot was way too ripped for a 70 year old gunslinger? lol

Mgs4 final boss fight was the best i loved the cqc fighting, I also liked how the music changed the longer you got into the battle. But the thing that made this fight so memorable for me was the cut scene just before. There was so much emotion in it loved the part were they put there heads together and headbutt each other lol

Well he is the son of Boss.

I though The Boss was the hottest female MG character ever.
