2 lovely pixelated updates today
http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/assist/assist09.html
both the excite bike riders AND lakitu + spinies appear as assist trophies

man, once you turn all items on and put them on very high, this games is going to be a crazy item fest

The landmaster huh? Didn't seem that comin' as a final smash for Fox (saw it more as an AT). Pretty interesting nonetheless though, but that other update was plain unnecessary. Who doesn't know about shielding and dodging?

The people who never played SSB and SSBM.

I love it.

Hmm...I will enjoy using that.

Personally, I think the Landmaster idea isn't that impressive...

I would have been much more satisfied with a Power Bomb: the large spikey blue explosion and that cool whooshing noise.

Yeah, I agree. The Landmaster idea is a little boring.

Fox should have a better final smash than that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll be amusing, but it doesn't strike me as impressive or really in Fox's fighting style. A tank is far from agile.

In my opinion, Fox's final smash should involve his aircraft. I forgot the name of it, though.

Anyway, He would be able to fly around the stage in his aircraft, shooting laser beams at his opponents, for a brief period of time. It would be fun...

I'm wondering how equal the Final Smashes are... on the one hand, some seem like a pro might be able to avoid it for however long it lasts.

On the other hand, I think that it'd be a great equalizing tool for some of the characters who may be considered "lower" on the SSB Food Chain than others

Oh shut up. You know that was a rhetorical question.

Now that you put it that way, I have to agree.

Yeah. That's kinda what I was thinkin' (on the 2nd paragraph).

Then again, those who play Smash competitively usually have all items off, and the Smash Ball (or whatever it's called that triggers the final smashes) can be turned off as well if I'm not mistaken, so that'll foil the whole 'equalizing tool' idea you mentioned...
Still nice of you to have brought it up though.

new update

Two-player co-op mode should be both interesting and fun.

The adventure mode is going to be great.

I knows, I knows dat.

But, more people would have played Pichu if he had a final smash that might compensate for everything else that was sucktacular.

And, the type of people that you mentioned would probably be adept enough at that point that Final Smashes were mostly avoidable anyways. The Landmaster DOES look like it could be all that and a bag of potato chips, but I'm thinking that unless it's on a single-platform/ only platform stage, there could be downsides, or an avoidability factor.

But, Fox rox my sox anyways, so if his Final Smash is a little less pwnful than Pokemon Trainer's, he can compensate anyways.

So is the subspace thing able to be played online?

Probably not being that you'd think they'd mention it if it was.

They made sure to state you can play it with a sibling or a friend. Not with online strangers.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Will the Master and Crazy Hand be in this also like the idea of using Giga Bowser as a finishing move
