Its all preference of play

"The Point" was a direct reference to the concept of a Final Smash theoretically making teh crapzorz characters... not teh crapzorz. Or less so. And the fact that said point would be nonexistent for the pros who play with the worse characters WITH the Final Smashes turned off.

As for the statement... adding an element of randomness doesn't completely remove the element of skill. A pro will still get the items faster, avoid them better, and dominate the battlefield all around when faced against a noob.

It just help keeps everything fresh for those of us who aren't constantly captivated by monotonous H2H fighting.

Sounds more like the hardcore gamers turn all that stuff off because a n00b got a hammer and pwned them.

I dont think they're going to balance smashes based on how crappy a character is.. as I dont believe they intentionally make crappy characters

(were there any crappy characters?... I figured smash always gave something for everyone)

when they turn the items off, I guess they want to test the base characters against one another to get props for pwning with low tier characters

who are crapz0r characters, IYO?

I've beaten people up who got the hammer in their hands.. its not that hard

You know what I mean.

Incorrect... most "n00b"s with hammers are avoidable, counterable, etc.

However... in a pro vs. pro match, I can understand how leaving the items out would keep the playing field level.

That being said, I don't cosign the sentiment. I like how items shake up the match and consequently keep fights from becoming stale.

I certainly wouldn't disagree (about items shaking the match up)... I'm up for either type of battle, tbh

Of course they don't, but it just so happens that some characters aren't as "tres 'lite" as others. Which is why I mentioned how, if it ends up that character A stats > character B's, a Final Smash could become a decent equalizer.

There's not a huge difference between most characters, and most pros with their "pro characters" could match one another whether their character is higher on the food chain or not.

But, IMO? Pichu. Mewtwo could be better. Bowser's reach + speed = 👇

Super Smash Bros Brawl is going to be the greatest game of 2009 and 2010!

kirby's final smash! 😄..uses the enemies to make items, then blasts them away

Also, Ashley's theme. Alternate music for the WarioWare stage?

I wonder how close to Kirby his opponents have to be in order for them to be thrown in the pot.

I doubt that everybody on the battlefield will sucked into his pot and cooked.

There must be a range.

Nah, I believe they automatically just go in the pot. Just as Kirby does, the Pot "Sucks" them all up.

That wouldn't be fair at all.

Well I'm not sure if other characters are able to move while Kirby's attack is being activated or not, if so, they could easily move away before he actually brought out the POT and started cooking. SO that wouldn't be fair either.

If they're stuck in place as soon as he initiates his special attack then that's another story.

I'd like to think they automatically go in the pot though.

Until I start playing and automatically get sucked into the pot.

😐

Yeah, it better not be that way.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Yeah, if I'm on the far end of a stage, and Kirby uses his final smash at the other end of the stage, it wouldn't be fair if I get sucked in the pot even though I'm far away from him.

LOL I would be pissed if that happened.

Just jump off the stage.

Might as well give yourself up to THE POT then and keep that life, rather than throw it away and jump off of the stage.

I wonder if one were to jump off of the stage and then latch onto the edge using one of the special manuevers would they still be sucked into THE POT.

Indeed..........Kirby could be a dangerous one he could.

Dude, that would be worse.

Or just counter it with your own Final Smash, probably would negate each other.

😐 Impossible.

Only one smash ball appears per battle.
