yeah, cuz when I said it does crappy damage , I was referring to Smash Melee (gamecube)screw attack... and how it seems to do worse damage than the N64 screw attack (regular smash bros.).. which seemed to suck people into it and keep them there until it finished, and with a good amount of damage too

Man the music in the trailer rocked . Anyone have any idea what it was ?
That was SSB:B's theme, completely new, written by none other than Nobuo Uematsu. Sakurai-san stated that Brawl's music would be played by a full orchestra, with many songs even having Latin vocals.
JToTheP: No new news yet so far as I've heard. I wouldn't expect much for a while anyway, as the game will not be ready for the Wii's launch. The official site should be an excellent fount of information as it becomes available, though.
Recently, Sakurai has updated the website stating that he has to "temporarily stop updating this website as of June, 2006." Sakurai plans on focusing on the actual development of the game, and doesn't plan on updating the website until Brawl is close to release, or "if anything newsworthy comes up".

Yes !!!
Man I love latin lyrics... look at One wigned Angel .
yes, the music rocked...
also, i found other damage differences in the game, like samus's screw attack
a lot of kirby's attacks, like final cutter, didnt suck people in like it did in the n64 version, kinda like samus's screw attack..and it didnt do as much damage, and people can break out of his grabs very easily..
also, the fire flower is much weaker in melee..

I know, it would be impossible, and they haven't even announced all the new characters, (If they do instead of leaving us surprises.) and it has Early/Mid 2007 written all over it.

They re-did the damage system if everything is weaker that everyone is claiming, perhaps because of the new moves, and abilities. i.e. sudden death with however much stock. As far as I'm concerned Melee just allows more combo moves, like Link's multiple slash, Luigi's running fists into a throw, etc.

Maybe they did that because of the screw attack item, and because the screw attack, Luigi/Mari's jump, and most of the "recovery" attacks are for recovery and setting other people up for an easy death. Personally I only occationally use my Up+B attack when I fight.
I quoted different people though, it isn't like I made three single posts without editing. I don't know how to multiple quote in one post unfortunately.
Yes, and I thought Melee just added the charge to do more damage to Link's multiple slash?
And the only reason I don't play the first one anymore, but still own it, is because I don't have my 64 anymore.
Still no reason to Triple Post.
and if you don't know then you ask.
At the bottom right of each post is 3 icons under the REPORT button.
Edit, Quote, and the a picture of a Quote.
You hit the picture of the quote, the one all the way on the right side and a little thing comes up. It doesn't look like a post but that's the person post you're responding to.
