I'm a huge Zelda/Sheik fangirl, and yet I'm sitting here saying that Sheik having her own Final Smash wouldn't make sense. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD?

As far as gameplay goes, Sheik is not technically a separate character from Zelda. The only way you can play as Sheik is by starting out as Zelda. That's like trying to argue that Zelda and Sheik were two completely different characters in OoT. They act different, yes, but the reason for this was because Zelda had disguised herself. Sheik is still Zelda. SSB plays off this fact by only making Sheik selectable if you're already playing as Zelda, because they're the same person.
