Super Smash Bros Brawl

Lucario? OMFG! I must train one now, although, I'm a Flygon Man .

Having Sheik have a separate final smash would be unfair, because the player could decide which to use based on scenario and battlefield at the given moment of obtaining the smash ball.

Furthermore, Pokemon Trainer only has one FS, so this really shouldn't be a surprise.

Anyways...

It seems clear now that the FS's are balancing out the characters' move sets. Olimar's move set is weak, but his FS looks damn near unavoidable. Sheik was always one of the top characters in the game... if the same power level carries over, it makes sense for the FS to only be able to hit one person, though perhaps a OHKO.

Not to mention Wario... his moveset looks strong, but his final smash is... meh. Fun, but not apparently powerful.

Light arrow, can't beat it.

You sure? Unlike some of the other final smahes, this one looks like it's rather easy to dodge.

I almost think that Brawl all by itself will be worth the Wii.

Yep.

Melee alone was the reason many people actually got a Gamecube.

As for Lucario, I don't give a rat's ass about him, but if Mewtwo makes it back, then I'm fine with Lucario's inclusion.

another example, metaknight..
his moveset is weak in terms of KO's, so his FS, when used properly, is an insta-kill to any in his way 😄

kirby is the same thing, except he's really light, so his FS gives him food to bring his % down..
lucas, another lightweighter, has an uber FS, but will probably have a weaker moveset..

one more - DK
he's the strongest character with some hard hitting moves, but his FS is hopeless 😆
i see the pattern now 😈

Same here, after reading those examples you listed.

So I guess unlike Melee, more balance does exist in this game. 😱

I mean it's cool.

UPDATE: MANAPHY!

MORE POKEMON!

Interesting.

ANATA WA WAKARIMASU KA.....

Wow, first I was disappointed, but I love the body switching thing. 😂

That will be good.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that update was "Yu-Gi-Oh!".

There's this card called "Change of Heart" that does something similar in that Universe.

It should be fun; add an extra challange to the game.

At first I thought, "Oh look, another Pokémon I'll never see while I'm playing."

But the concept of switching bodies is, frankly, pretty cool.

So do I. Played it for like three years and that would be more like Monster Swap then Change of Heart.

i got like the gba game, and i was thinking of getting ygo online if it was free...
unfortunately it wasnt, so ive been reduced to watching the abridged series 😬

So you never played with the actual cards?

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

i did once, at shool, when the show was a huge hit, years ago 😬

LOVE the concept of the new stage.

I like the idea of Manaphy and body swapping, except for situations where I'm just battling a computer. A level 9 Fox swapped with my pro character (say, Pit) is just going to be a level 9 Pit vs. my not-so-pro Fox.

I doubt the computer's skill level will change.
