Super Smash Bros Brawl

You're not really paying much attention then; besides Galaxy and Corruption the Wii also has Twilight Princess, Sonic & the Secret Rings, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition & Umbrella Chronicles, Medal of Honor 2 (32 player online), NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, No More Heroes, and of course Super Paper Mario.

As for some up and coming games we have Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (RPG), Dragon Blade Swords (out 19th), Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Monster Hunter 3 (was suppose to be on the PS3 but Capcom changed), the unnamed platforming Donkey Kong game, Animal Crossing (Wii), and that's all I can think of right now oh and they are getting Okami oh and of course that true Wii Zelda game and not just a Gamecube port.

The Wii has more games in development then the 360 and the PS3 and the 360 did have a year's head start over the Wii so it is impressive how many great games the Wii already has since it took the 360 nearly two years to have a nice list of great games.

Depends. Relatively speaking, the list of the 360's "good" games compared to the Wii's number is pretty high.

Just using myself as an example, there were only three games I bought for the Wii last year, and I only enjoyed one of them (metroid), whereas I bought over 12 360 games and to this day play seven or eight of them, because I like them that much.

It would be impressive if Nintendo had released as much games as they did, and most of them were good. But seeing as most of the games they released were crap, imo, it's not very outstanding.

RE and No more Heroes were cool, but other than those and the already mentioned first party games, none of that interest me. Sonic sucked as usual, I hate japanese RPG games, Donkey Kong has been irrelevant since DK64, and I really am not interested in an ancient PS2 port.

Aside from the RE games, I dont play my Wii unless its the big first party games, if I play 3rd party games its for 360, because they put a little effort into those.

I've been paying full attention.

Wow. You think I don't know about those titles? I was only listing a couple examples in my last post, not every single damn one of them.

Although decent, that's still not much of a variety compared to the likes what the Wii's predecessors had to offer (Star Wars games anyone?).

And, I'll stick with the Gamecube's Resident Evil 4, TYVM. 🙂 Umbrella Chronicles on the other hand never appealed to me that much.

Most of those aren't "must have" games for me, and I've never been much of an Animal Crossing fan. Not my kind of thing. Besides that, I lost most of the interest I had in the Tales of Symphonia sequel when I heard it was just a game where you have to raise monsters and stuff (rather than battle them). It won't really have the same feel as the first game, which disappoints me.

As for the unnamed DK platforming game, I'll believe it when I see it, but not until then. They could end up cancelling it like they did with Metroid Dread.

And like I said, we still have yet to hear the confirmation of a Star Fox Wii game...
The lack of new Metroid games confirmed disappoints me too. The Gamecube had at least 2 Metroid titles. It'll be a letdown if the Wii only ends up having 1 (even as good as it was), or at least have a decent Metroid game on the DS, or yet, port Donkey Kong 64 to the DS like they did with Super Mario 64.

There's a lot of things Nintendo could be doing that they haven't done.

Well said. I don't even have a 360 (yet), and even I know most of the games they've released on that system have been very good, unlike the Wii where only a minority of their games manage to appeal to me & most others I know.

The Wii hasn't really lived up to its potential like the 360 has.

Same here, and those were mainly what I was referring to in my last post.

Yeah. The Wii didn't seem to put as much effort into those...

The Wii, overall , has been very dissapointing to me.

Once you get over the novelty of the Wii-Mote, you're just like.. "Now what?" I mean, it's not liek Ninteno just has this kickass multiplayer to add longetitvity to a game or anything 🙄 Or graphics to dazzle me.

I haven't touched Mario Galaxy in four or five weeks. I've just been playing Rock Band, Halo 3, and Battle for Middle Earth II.

You're just not woman enough to handle all the Wii has to offer >_<!

Sounds interesting. Good luck on that.

Mewtwo was my favorite character too. 🙁 I don't care if he sucked tier-wise, speed-wise, or whatever. So did Bowser, yet they beefed him up in Brawl by a landslide. They could've easily done the same to Mewtwo. 😬 Oh well...

I wouldn't have minded Lucario being in if it wasn't just to replace Mewtwo, but since that's the reason he was included, I can't stand to even lay an eye on him...

... yes. I love Mewtwo that much, so sue me. 😘 He's been one of my favorite characters ever since I was just a lad. In some regards to me, he IS Pokemon, making it all the more sad for me for him not to return in Brawl playable roster. cry

Long live the king...

So uh, I guess now my main characters will be Diddy Kong, Snake, and uh... Wolf.

LOL! @ that video 😄

The thing is you should compare how the 360 was doing a year in to how the Wii is doing currently gamewise. You can't use them currently. The 360 has a bloody year on the Wii.

And the 360 wasn't nearly as hyped up with the "OMGZ WII-MOTE!"

Maybe we should compare theretop selling games?

I can tell you without fear that Halo 3 probably trumps anything the Wii has out right now, in sales. And I know that it had the most pre-orders of all time.

LOL...duh!

Well, do some searching of some software sales comparisons and post it in the console forumz. Make sure it is recent.
