I agree. Like you said, it definitely fits him, especially the SSE mode.

So true, apparently this is the final game in the series, I can't see that happening but still...🙁

It is??? You mean no more Smash Bros. games after Brawl??? 😠

That's what some sources are saying, but I don't see it happening. Makes too much money.

I was thinking the same thing. The Smash Bros. series are WAY too successful to discontinue.

it would unwise to kill a series that is so profitable

Here, here, what has disappointed me is the lack of King K. rool, Ridley and I know some wanted Mewtwo, I understand we were probably not going to get Megaman in Brawl (although this sort of game suits him.)

Meh. What happened with Mewtwo still doesn't make sense. He should've been in Brawl, standing atop the Haldberd with Ganondorf and Bowser...
... Not some random, crappy trophy that fails to even mention his status from the last game.

Replacing him with someone like Lucario is like replacing Bowser with Waluigi, or replacing Ganondorf with Minda. Just doesn't add up in the end.

And we all know how good Nintendo are at stopping production on there franchises.

Indeed. Not like Nintendo hasn't done unwise things before.

Like it or not, Brawl will more than likely be the "final hoorah" of the Smash series, in which case, the franchise is done and over with.

Well I'll say this, if this is the last game of the series, then I think Nintendo should at least give it some downloadable features (like characters or something). That would at least keep it somewhat new for a heck of a long time. Although this may be just wishful thinking, I hear alot of people talk about the possibilities and it got me interested.

Thats what I said, but no....appears to be no such feature.

Yep. That only applies for stages, not characters.

Based on what? What possible motivation could Nintendo have for discontinuing the series?

They kept Mario going this long.

Based on what?

Based on what Sakurai said in his meeting with Iwata.

http://us.wii.com/iwata_asks/ssbb/vol4_page1.jsp

Sakurai: "Well, as I discussed earlier, a fundamental idea at the start of development was that this would be the last Smash Bros. title, and that, ultimately, there would be few opportunities for Nintendo characters and major, well-known characters to gather in the same place."

I don't think he means that 100%. Look at this interview here:

http://wii.ign.com/articles/853/853748p1.html

Masahiro Sakurai: I feel like anything I've considered I'm probably going to think about when -- I mean if -- another game was to come out in the series and so I'd like to keep a lid on that for now. and not disclose anything I've been thinking about there.

I've been playing Brawl for a couple of days now, but I don't really have a fish in a rainbow's clue what's going on! I can't really work out if my percentage is supposed to be low or high. I hit the little dudes, and their percentage goes up, whilst mine stays low, but then I lose...

Also, the Japanese makes my eyes water...Mummy?

What controller are you using, Floo?

Mr. Wii Remote connected to Mrs. Nunchuck. Is that the way to go?

Gamecube or Classic controller would be my suggestion.

It's your first smash Bros game no?
Then you should check out all the different control schemes to see which suits you best.

I can get a Gamecube controller pretty cheap, so I'll look into that. Which is a good game mode to start on? There's so many I don't really know what's going on...Also, which character would you recommend? At the moment, I like Pit and Purpleballbat...
