Have any of you ever been to an official SSBB tournament before?

I've been to two, and participated in one.

I've participated in a SSBB tournament for the first time at an anime convention I went to last month. It was a doubles tournament, and one of my friends and I had a Yoshi/Lucario team. Team attack was on, but we still managed to get first place. Teamwork is very important in a match with teams, and we had a couple of effective strategies.

Yeah, finding a good partner for doubles can be tricky, but when you find the right combination, it just makes for so much ownage.

All about teamwork building - straight up.

Me and my doubles partner go through cruel brawl together, that really helps.

Who else here ( other than me ) uses Olimar?? =p

LOlimar is fun to play sometimes. Competitively, he's a pain in the ass.

Yeah. Just spam his Pikmin and his throw moves and you're pretty much set. 😐

Don't forget that super armored whistle. Damn that thing gets annoying.

His dsmash is pretty decent, too.

dont forget that you can mostly just flick the C-stick to victory 80% of the time

The same can be said about Wolf, and that'll lead to him to victory 90+% of the time.

The same can be said about Meta Knight's dsmash, and that'll lead him to victory 1000+% of the time.

Yoshi's pivot grab is great against Wolf's forward smash, and egg-laying him offstage is a hilarious KO because of his falling speed.

It isn't hard to get out of Falco's chaingrab, but King DeDeDe has the most annoying chaingrab in the game.

yeah lol.. I tried to get out of chaingrab with samus, and it wasnt working..
