Well, I finally did it. I went and decided to start playing with Meta Knight. I'm a tier whore! 😱

UpB, Down Smash, and neutral B is all you need to win with Meta Knight.

He is in his own tier lol.. at least last I checked.. or I think it was solid snake

Not Snake, he at least has counterpicks. Meta Knight is his own CP, and there's always an even 50/50 chance of winning with him.

He is, which is why I don't have much trouble against Metaknight.

If Yoshi's learning curve wasn't so high, then more people would be using him.

I'll admit, my facts may be outdated. I only check in on the competitive scene once in a while, so I'm usually clueless when counterpicks are reshuffled or new techs are found.

Yoshi's eggs are great projectiles if you know how to aim them correctly. They might be the most versatile non-item projectiles in the game.

I don't recommend using his egg roll in 1-vs-1 matches. It isn't as trashy as the SSBM version, but it's best not to use often. The best character to use that attack against is Olimar, though.

Has anyone seen the fully rendered pic of Mike Jones? Was he originally supposed to be in this game as to my understanding? Arrgggh, that would have been awesome especially since Star Tropics 3 has supposedly been in development.

Anyway, I'll be able to play this game next month since I'll be going back to school.

Does anyone here like the storyline of the game?

I like the storyline. It's not the best but I still like it but maybe that's because I'm a Nintendo fan (especially a Smash Bros. fan) and it's not everyday you see a storyline involving Nintendo characters. Plus, it kind of reminds me of Kingdom Hearts (that's why I wish they could make a crossover, even though it's unlikely).

You yourself really makes up the storyline.
