Super Smash Bros Brawl

It's fun, and all games have their depth, but I wouldn't put it up with like SF or anything. Only ones who do that are hardcore Smash fans, bless their hearts. Had this discussion before with my friends who are massive smash fanboys lol. They said pretty much the same thing.

Brawl is AWSOME!!!...to bad my copy was destroyed befor i could defete the game... 🙁

For the record, Smash was not meant to be a fighting game. It is a party game.

Yet, Melee still stands out as one of the best competitive fighters there is.

Yeah... I understand some people were being a bunch of douchebags on the Batman forum earlier when you misspelled Robin or somethin', but I'm nothing like them in that regard. 😛

lol.. I would say melee was damn cool.. but I didnt play it enough to think it was 'one of the best'...

and yeah.. brawl is garbage if you try to take it seriously.. theres just too much random unbalanced shit

I'm not simply talking about "oh hey, once you get over a few hurdles, fighting this character isnt so bad"

this is flat out, dude has auto guard, ko's at very low %'s, has instant start up, spammability, etc, etc, and on top of that just shits out damage like its going out of style..(even though being able to KO at low %'s, you would think, should mean toned-down damage.../shrug)

I mean, if you can show me some evidence that this game is as great as you say, then so be it... but I've had my fill

My sentiments exactly. I gave it a chance too despite my early disappointments with the character roster, and it turned out to have broken gameplay and everything if you tried to play it seriously, so I quit playing it online after a few months, but still played it longer than most of my friends, whose activiy level on the game dropped like flies. ermm That includes most of the poeple here on KMC too whose friend codes I added, any I never got to play with any of 'em except like one or two...

yeah.. I tried to learn how to play it in time for a tourney.. but I didnt really understand the game at the time, and it got pretty frustrating to get wtfstomped by the one million roy players over and over again

its still clearly better than brawl, despite some of the wtf-choices the devs made.. like samus' screw attack / z-air 😘

as for brawl, broken hitboxes on other chars, my limited KO options (a whole 2?.. 3 if the opponent was borderline legally retarded?) and then throw tripping on that to ice the cake, and I definitely had more than my serenity allowed for

the game engine is awesome.. some of the changes were really cool and unique.. and then they took a dump on it purposely to make it a party game.. I just really dont understand people.. 😂
