I found it to have surprisingly low replay value, and could only play it 'religiously' for so long... In the end, it was basically just Melee 2.0 with more floaty-ness and crappy online.

I went from the Wiimote+nunchuck to the Gamecube controller a couple of weeks ago. It's much more comfortable.

The main reason why I still play this game is because of the awesome soundtrack and the chaos that happens when players use items on certain stages.

Man, this game's tournament scene is epic. Melee is the better game, imho, but Smash in general is the most technical fighter overall at the highest metagame.

I miss the air dodge mechanics from melee as a third jump/save. I also think Brawl's secrets are just too hard to unlock, even with the hammers.

Yeah, I agree. Super Smash just lacks the type of character balance that other good fighters tend to have.
