Well I didn't play much of Single Player when I played so I guess that's why I never found out.
Oh yeah. Goldeen was discussed earlier in this thread.
They said that if he hits the ground near your opponent at the right time you get an immediate K.O. on your Opponent.
I've never experience it though.

No not really, she is totally useless. It is more an "easter-egg" because it is a reference to one of the first episodes of the Pokémon TV-show where Ash Ketchum grabbed a random Pokeball to fight some bad guys, and he happened to choose one containing Goldeen who was just jumping around on the ground.
you dont know kirby that well you you??
if kirby uses his special first, hell turn mario and link into food, and kirby will eat them..
if mario goes first, kirby goes stone and link goes sky high, then kirby will own mario coz hes tired from the huge ass blast
if link goes first, then its a 50/50 chance for kirby, since link can choose either mario or kirby
if he chooses mario, mario goes sky high, leaving kirby to own link
it he chooses kirby, then kirby is toast
