the pokeball is just cheap while the fan and the laser gun are completely worthless.

the fan is NOT useless, nor is the laser gun..
both are incredibly useful when it comes to hitting them off the edge

You can't even charge the fan Madmel, the laser gun is just for pushing like you said as well.

The pokeball was always interesting to me, it's all those damn pokemon are good for, Mewtwo is the only good one considering Wartortle isn't playable.

Doesn't exactly confirm anything. "Under certain conditions" could very well mean unlocking Zero Suit Samus through gameplay.
