considering the design of the suit they chose is stockier (a characteristic of masculinity) I would say that its more gender-neutral than her prime design

her prime 3 suit (too big to link so I attached) also exudes a more slender femanine appearance in contrast to the smash bros. suit of choice

Though thats not to say I'm unappreciative of their hard work remodeling the character.. but I figured.... OOT Link becomes TP Link.. same for Zelda... and.. not same for Samus?.. what gives?

Eh, I was suprised to learn that Samus was a female at first. But hey with Zero Suit Samus added into SSBB I doubt anyone who hasn't played a Metroid game but plays SSB won't get confused.

I wouldn't mind playing as Bowser Jr., Ridley, and WW Link.

The only real gender-affecting difference I see is that the groin guard is bulkier on the Brawl model. I guess you might also say the waist, but there's not really much difference there.

yes I'm aware of this.. the feminine / masculine labeling was purely for suit comparisons... my real gripe is that link and zelda got a severe makeover.. and samus did not

Hey SSB was the first time I actually learned Samus's name. I knew about the Metroid games but I didn't know who Samus was. I was never into Metroid until my friend lent me his copy of Metroid Prime for the GC and since then I have loved the Metroid series.

I actually bought Metroid Prime because Samus was in SSB. I liked fighting with her, and wanted to see what the Metroid games were like.

yeah same here, Prime was the first game i played because she was in SSB, and then i went back and discovered all the old games as well.

Zelda is HOT in SSBB... 😄
