Good to see he actually looks a bit scaly. Also, I chose this image in particular for a reason. Notice the bits of eggshell flying away from him? He could just be coming out of his egg roll attack, but maybe they brought back the pre-fight intros?
Where do you see scales?

Yoshi's Story was one of the most badass N64 games ever made.
No, it wasn't.
Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Ocarina Of Time.
Nintendo's games including their mascots [with actual DEPTH, not a new take on Yoshi eating stuff.], and Rareware's games were the best Nintendo 64 games, and some of the best ever made.

Yoshi was one of my least favorite characters on Melee.I did like his jump and run on top of your head attack.
He was the best to use in that Side Game where you ramp up the Sand Bag Damage Percentage and then bat it as far as you can.
Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....
There's videos of people doing great with every character in the sand bag competition though.

yeah but i have never been able to get it farther than like 100 feet with CFanyone know how?
and i sure dont see any scales on yoshi either.... 😕
There are bat throws + a "hard down and "A" combo that you can do that really rack up the damage. after you have damaged Mr. Sandbag enough...you falcon punch Mr. Sandbag and he flies like 3 to 4 thousand feet. There are plenty of videos on IGN.com on how to do it.

That move is called the flutter kick.

wonder if yoshi will have any new moves... he was kind of bland in melee i thought
Yoshi wasn't bland in SSBM. He was really good. Anyway, I hope that his egg roll attack is replaced with something better...

No. Each character is built differently, and it's common knowledge that some characters were built better than others. It's called "tiers." For example, Link and Peach are top tier, while Yoshi is more middle tier.
