See, as much as I love Mario, I've never quite thought that Mario 64 was the perfect game that a lot of people seem to think it is. Very very good game, but not perfect. There's still a lot that's better.
I have a feeling that this will continue to be the case for me with Galaxy.

Your opinion dear SIR, and you are more then in titled to it, it is just that the majority do not agree with you, it seems the classics are getting replaced with modern classics.
Since when is something right just because a majority thinks so?
The reviews are simply opinion too, you know.

Majority as in you and two or three other guys in this thread? lol
I believe the majority still believe OoT to be the best Nintendo game, and if not, they probably think its either a 2D Mario or a 2D Zelda.
Well no game, movie or T.V show is perfect, there will always be faults, the case is weather these are big or small faults, and weather or not you choose to address, or dismiss them, I my self find SM64 far from perfect, but it is still a great game, and I focus on the game play more then the faults, unless of course those games that cannot be addressed without the need to bring those faults up.

Its a more traditional Mario game than Sunshine was.
I don't know about that. I thought Sunshine felt more along the lines of a traditional Mario game in the way Mario 64 did. This one's got you moving awkwardly from orb to orb.
It looks beautiful but i dunno. Are there even any vast flat platforms where he can run fast on?
I saw someone playing it yesterday at gamestop while picking up A.C. for the 360 but all i saw was Mario colorfully catapulting and erratically chasing this huge shell with a tail coming out of it on some small planet with floating ropes or steps near it.
It was weird.

The Koopalings disappeared after Mario World, so thats not news. 🙄They got replaced by Bowser JR, who sucks. 😬
Incorrect they returned in Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, in bowsers castle.
As well as the game Mario is Missing, and I belive Yoshi's Safari, they were also ment to be in Super Princess Peach.
