We're talking about Mario though........not Sonic.

Did Mario 64 get a sequel? Mario Sunshine? Then there's no reason to believe the next Big Mario Game will all of a sudden be a sequel and not something new like they've been doing this whole time.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Sunshine is the sequel to 64. Galaxy is the sequel to Sunshine. Just because they don't add a 2 or a 3 after Mario doesn't mean they are not sequels. If that was the case Final Fantasy XI is the sequel to Final Fantasy X.

And for 3D Sonic games:

Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Sonic Heroes
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic & the Secret Rings

Shadow the Hedgehog isn't a Sonic game.

Isn't it?

Spin off.

Yeah that's why Galaxy/sunshine are called Mario 128 when in production, because they are sequels to 64.

you could have used on the sonic theme, Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2

Sonic Rush adventure is the sequel of Sonic Rush, just because it does not have a 2 in front of it, does not mean it can not be a sequel.

No. The sequel to X is X-2

Why did you quote yourself?

Because I wanted to.

You didn't need to do it.

All we had to do is scroll up above ESB-1138's post and read it from there.

Well.......

I didnt even think of Secret Rings, but yeah, so that is actually 5. So in 8 years Sega has made 5 crappy(some people love them, but majority think "meh"😉 compared to two Mario games. One game was below average for Mario game but still good, and the other is pretty much an instant classic.

I dont think Sonic will ever translate to 3d, it doesnt work for the character. 3d is abou freedom to wherever and explore, Sonic is about running as fast as you can on a specific track, that should stay 2d.

To add to his impressive "useless post" total, just like the one above.

Not true. Secret Rings was a pretty good Sonic game. Sonic Team just needs to improve the gameplay there and stop throwing in new characters to take the spotlight away from Sonic.

Now I thought people might miss it, why don't you just shut up and go try and complete Galaxy.

It was the post above ESB-1138's post.

How could we miss it if we could just scroll up and read it?

😐

It's about quality not quantity, just because I have more posts then you, and I have been on less then you, who cares as long as it is not SPAM, wow I outdid you, I don't really care, Post count is not everything.

Yet, you made a thread in the off-topic forum with the goal of trying to get a higher post count than someone else.

I have a life to take care of, I cant spend every moment playing like some people. 🙄

And dont worry, I should have it done in a week or two. Thanks for caring about my completion though. 😉

No problem, belive it or not I am being serious.

Also I don't play games that much anymore, collage takes up allot of time ya know.

To be fair if I did not have a life, I would be dead.

Problem with Galaxy is it can be to simple sometimes.

😉

Okay, let me ask you this.

When you say that you can't wait for the sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, what exactly does the sequel in your mind entail? Another Mario game set in the Mario Galaxy World? A continuation of it? Or are you just really saying that you can't wait for THE NEXT MARIO GAME, regardless of Galaxy?

And your whole Final Fantasy comparison really made no sense, no offense. I'm saying that The Mario Games we're referring to aren't sequels, in the sense of a continuation of each other.............so if this was the case for Final Fantasy Games then the games you used in your example wouldn't be sequels, which in all actuality they aren't., which I would agree with and which is fact. So I don't know what you were trying to say there, but you messed up.
