Wow. Getting all 100 purple coins in that sand galaxy (forgot what it was called) sure was a pain in the ass, and it seems these other 100-coin challenges are even more difficult. Guess I'll have to try harder.

Same here.

IGN gave Galaxy their overall GOTY as well. Pretty much every major reviewer has given Galaxy GOTY. Pretty impressive considering the other games it was up against (Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Crisis, etc.). Way to go Nintendo, it is most deserved!

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Eraser, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic Labyrinth, Tails and the Music Maker, Chao Adventure, Chao Adventure 2, Sonic & Garfield Pack, Sonic's Schoolhouse, Sonic Riders 2, and I'll end with the latest entry being developed by BioWare; Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

Oh and of course Galaxy would take GotY. All those games compared to Galaxy...well Galaxy makes them look like budget titles.

Anyhow, I got all 120 stars now 🙂, and beat Bowser again to unlock Luigi. I almost gave up on myself on those last 2 stars I had to get 😬...
I don't think I'll be replaying the whole thing as Luigi though unless I get real bored or somethin'. Perhaps after I beat Brawl and eventually take a break from the game (after it comes out), then I might replay SMG with Luigi.
But again, great game, this Super Mario Galaxy is. I'm glad I got it.
