It was a safe assumption and a correct one. I assumed you liked the murder talk on a superficial level, you do. Unless you can relate and happen to be a murderer.
You called him soft for not talking about murder, you've spoke out about how much you enjoy the themes of violence toward women in certain songs.
I didn't exactly go out on a limb. Either way, you've dodged my question, and it's something you do quite often:
"Why do you want to hear about murders on the streets and people getting killed?"
What do you get out of that?
Go on.
Oh and for the record, don't be telling me that Cube spits about violence without glorifying. There's this song called Natural Born Killaz...dunno if you've heard it.

I never said "I want to hear about murders on the streets." But just to entertain your obviously annoying question I'll answer you...
I don't get any wierd or sadistic pleasure out of hearing about some fool getting capped (which you assumed I did), it's imformative and let's you know what's going on in this country. Yes, I could always watch the Six O'Clock news for that, but I prefer hearing it from an artistic first-person point of view. Cuz its grittier and much more graphic and personal.
Keyword: informative.
There.

I assumed you enjoyed it on a superficial level. I never said I assumed that you enjoy hearing about some "fool getting capped". Misinterpretation.

Ironic AND hypocritical.
So the reason you don't watch it on the news is because it's not as graphic or personal? Why? You get pictures and footage. Personal? I didn't know Ice Cube was your boy. You know him? No. You know him about as much as you know a news reporter. So your logic doesn't hold water.

Yeah, because someone rapping cockily about gun crime is more informative than news stories with footage.
Leaking...leaking.

It's more personal, cuz you're hearing it from some who's been there, lives the life, and sees the shit with his own eyes, instead of someone reading a teleprompter

Yes it is, but I doubt you would understand.
That's too bad, I do. Hence why I said it. DB specifically said he finds what the Big Tymers talk about to be "cool" and that he enjoys it.
I highlighted that they speak about punching women and his opinion remained the same. Whether he believes that now, I don't know.

If you honestly believe that Ice Cube LIVES (present tense) the life, then you are as deluded as a fan who believes 50 Cent is the modern day Al Capone.
He may very well have seen it. What does it matter to you? Why is it good? If you're that interested in it being informative, you'd think about what claims you've made.

Oh and I'm interested as to why you believe that. Please, go on.
This should be a corker. Let me strap myself into the rollercoaster for this one.

Because that would imply, first and most importantly, that I give a shit what anybody thinks.
People who care what others think of their taste are able to be teased. If it's critique then it's fair game for me to return debate to, if it's just "Ahhh Tool are shit." it's like water off a duck's back to me. I've already experienced that here anyway.

I cut and pasted the following quote of mine from the hiphop thread.

Not so much the "punching women" part, but I love when he flowz about cars and living it up. Its good club music, and its great to street race to.
And for the record, I don't like the Big Tymers--just Mannie Fresh. That fat bald guy annoys the shit outta me.

You're a white boy from England who lives with his parents.
"Hence", I don't believe you fully grasp the message or the vernacular..

"Not so much" the punching women part. Exactly. Mannie Fresh is the one who says it all anyway.
So wait...this is hilarious. I'm a white boy from England who lives with his parents...so that means I haven't witnessed violent activity?
You're a Samoan living in Nebraska. How do I know you're not some wanna be farmboy? Why should I believe you have any experience? Oh yeah because I don't know you. Like you don't know me. I'm willing to bet there's a lot more crime here than there is there, and the fact of the matter is...that's a bad thing.
I have seen violence, domestic and street, and I'd get rid of it in a second. It's not something I WANT to know about, nor see again and you're pathetic for trying to cite it as anything other than negative. Try again.

Oh, Quiero you are a clever man aren't you? Yes, because clearly the smartest move on Earth for a 20 year old guy would be to upheave needless financial issues upon himself by trying to buy, keep and afford a place in South-East London...in 2006, at the height of it's development. JUST so I can say "Look at me, I live on my own."
I never thought you were the brightest star in the sky, but damn. Surprised me with that one. Leave the logic to those who can.
Now, if we can get back to DB's comedic drowning in the logic ocean, I'd be most grateful. That's if he's not already been shot dead on those bad-ass Nebraska fiel...I mean streets.

"Not so much" the punching women part. Exactly.--I clearly said that I like him spitting about cars and living it up.
I'm not Samoan--I'm Hawaiian. Infact I told u that in a PM about a month ago.
Yes, I'm a wanna be farmboy--that's why I attend U-Neb. As a matter of fact I'm wearing overalls, I have a sickle-blade in my back pocket and I'm chewing tobacco as we speak. 😮💨
When you say I'm willing to bet there's a lot more crime here than there is there, are you comparing England to the whole US or just 'Braska? If you're talkin' about 'Braska, I will have you know that the Omaha Indian Reservation has a crime rate that rivals Detroit and South Central. (They also incidentally have good casinos--I won over $300 at the craps table last weekend.)
I'm not citing crime as anything other than negative. Never once did I say "Crime is positive!" or "Crime is good!" or "By golly, isn't crime so wonderful?"--no. Nothing of the nature.
