Only the greatest debater's of the forum's insult each other using an over-expanded vocabulary. Everyone else just throws the common insults around. Believe it or not, insulting people by things like this:

isn't as creative as you might be thinking it is. Also, why is one side of these insults coming from a moderator (global moderator?).
well, the trick is insulting the third person.
for instance, rather than quote you and say "you're an idiot"
one would quote you and say "anyone that thinks that way is an idiot"
of coarse we know both have the same direct meaning, but those who like to throw insults around view it as civilised discussion. if you ask me its just throwing feces with your left hand.
