Hercules wasn't just drunk, they had drugged him specifically for the ambush.

Herc once one-shotted Abomination, but perhaps it was a low showing for Abomination (such as once he was KOed by Rhino).

Yeah, not holding back Herc is a serious threat, even Hulk had some issues fighting him. Herc also fought Thor a lot and also put Thing in a submission grappling hold during a friendly sparring, showing his superior combat skills (Thing is also skilled too).

You think Goliath could take Samson, or Sasquatch? Not me, and if so not easily. Samson at his fighting best is roughly as strong as Goliath. Being more than a match for Hyde. No way is he defeating or any member of his crew physically beating the Abomination.
Thor did show up to clean things up, but Thor is more powerful than Hercules, with nearly the same level of strength.

20 years ago, KMC was doing their dumb thing with worshipping "gods" such as Thor and Herc, but those days are long gone and will never return.
Hercules gets pulled apart limb from limb here.

Samson is plenty strong, always has been. He doesn’t typically fight it out unless push comes to shove. A serious Samson would convincingly beat Hyde. Holding his own against Goliath is within his strength level. The Abomination is altogether a different story. Hercules wasn’t operating at normal levels, and was beaten into a coma.
Could he beat this team that is even more powerful than the Masters of Evil? I don’t quite get the translation of how the Abomination stacks up to Hercules as opposed to how he stacks up to the Hulk?
Why does the Abomination appear to be a match for the Hulk, but is turned into fodder when faced up against Hercules? If Hercules runs through Emil, the rest of the team is hit.
I disagree on the way that Hercules was able to defeat the Abomination. It makes no sense at all to me.
