Even if he was drunk which is something that I did not recall. He lost due to being taken off guard by Goliath. Even if he were sober, Goliath’s surprise attack would’ve taken the fight of of him in a sober state.
Do you remember a pissed off Hercules during the rematch when he literally almost killed the Thunderbolts and had Goliath crapping his pants?

The thing that makes him strong is that he is already superhumanly strong in his base form, normal size --- and he uses Pym Particles to grow giant.
But - just like everyone listed in this thread, including Herc - he does have some really bad showings. If we want to play the lowballing game, then it's only fair to do it for every character, not just the opposite team.

I knew that he was stronger than Atlas. Atlas/Goliath is as strong as Wonder Man I believe. The only one above that strength class is supposed to be the Abomination. Is it my imagination or does he job way too much to be that strong?
Of course on the other hand, if Hercules is far stronger than the Abomination, he’d likely defeat this team. This is a possibility. Hercules has the strength to make the world tremble.
