ROTS Anakin vs. General Grievous and Jango Fett

Anakin Skywalker is Geforce 2 MX
Darth Vader is Geforce 2 GTI

I don't think Anakin has enough offensive power to take this fight.

You guys underestimate Jango and Grievous Grievous was going toe to toe with MACE WINDU, and killed more Jedi than Vader did personally. (I mean with a lightsaber). Obi-Wan was ideally suited to go against him. Anakin....is not. Jango is incredibly skilled 2, and would make a big difference. The duo takes this.

I'm not sure how well either group would do, but in the end Anakin is dead and Grievous and Jango walk away. However if it was ROTS Vader I think Vader would win it given that we've seen the crippling effects of Force Lightning on cybernetics.

If it came down to pure power though then Grievous wouldn't have lost to Kenobi given that Anakin is more powerful than Kenobi as are many of the Jedi Grievous was successful against. Jango also had trouble against Obi-Wan who was weaker than ROTS Anakin.

Jango and Grievous win. I can't see Anakin blocking SIXTEEN lightsaber strikes a second. I just can't....

Kenobi did, and Anakin was the better duelist.

It will be close but I see Anakin coming out on top. I think that he would be able to dispose of Grievous pretty quickly with the force.

Unless you were referring to blocking Grevious' sabers, then there would be a difference between Kenobi facing Grevious, and Anakin facing him.

To be fair... Dooku tools him with the force.

Soresu masters are not invincible, but they are known to drag out fights for far longer than they should be.

eg, if Mace fought Obi-Wan, Kenobi would hang in there for a while. Even if he's painfully outclassed and has no hope of winning.

Obi-Wan is specialized in defence, he was THE Soresu master, and a Soresu master was said to be invincible....

The thing is, Kenobi's defense was evenly matched with an emotionally-conflicted Anakin's offense. Kenobi won the fight not by wearing Grievous out; but by cutting off his arms.

That, and he force pushed GG around.

I didn't say "are invincible", I said, "were said". They had an awefully good defence and Obi-Wan was noted to be THE Soresu master...
