Actually the wiki page of Invisible War sounds pretty good. I may look it up.

God dammit Lucas! WTF WERE YOU THINKING? I can't think of one person who liked Vader's "NOOO!" in RotS. Jesus christ..

Clearly its a conspiracy.

Invisible War had an amazing storyline by comparison with DX 1. A lot of people poo-poo'd its gameplay, saying it had been "console-ized". While it is simpler than the first game, I didn't find this game-breaking. If anything, the storylines and the endgame in particular are well worth discussion. To this day, I cannot conclusively agree which ending is best.

The storyline was NOT better than 1.

The fuck is this shit?

Honestly, why does anyone even care? lol

It's not like we don't all have this shit on VHS.

No wait, let's take that a step further. When was the last time any of you guys actually sat down and watched one of the OT movies? And I don't mean like, you were channel surfing and it was on, so you decided to watch it. I mean, when was the last time you were like "hmmm I feel like watching ESB" and you went and popped the movie in?

C'mon son.

Dude, it's a chance to hate on Lucas. Duh.

Six days ago. Watched the whole OT. Watched it on DVD, so I had the enhanced colours and effects, improved backgrounds, and better Ewok music... but traded that in for Hayden Christensen, Kiwi Boba Fett, cartoon dancers, "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival", intrusive CGI animals, and Greedo shooting first.

And I will accept all of that--ALL of it--if it means I can avoid "No... NOOOOOO!" I am going to be holding on those DVDs for a very, very long time. Because Lord Lucas knows, by the time the next medium is popular, the OT will be altered in more stupider ways than we can possibly imagine.

And I can't tell what they changed with the scene of Luke and Vader crossing sabers in RotJ in front of the Emperor. Looks the same to me.

****ing yes it was.

DX 1 is all about government/sekrit ruling body conspiracies abound. It's so ****ing "X-Files" been there, done that it's not even exciting to read on the DX wikia. Was it deeper than most stories back then? I guess. Daikatana and Doom weren't exactly deep.

DX:IW, instead of basically ignoring the ethical ramifications of human augmentation and going balls to the walls govm'nt conspiracy omfg like 1 did, delved into what nanoaugmentation would do to a post-collapse, decentralized world. It brought forth different philosophical viewpoints and government types seeking to take advantage of the power vacuum left by one's hybrid endings, and it took it a step further. The endings alone were the epiphany of genius, realizing that of all the four major endings, all of them have dark, realistic undertones is pretty much head and shoulders above DX 1's choices, by far.

DX 1's choices ultimately cause the Collapse. Indirectly, it does set the stage for IW. But IW's endings set the stage for humanity as a whole.

Angry Rant at Lucas.

Its old but it kind of fits. You know that he's going to re-re-re-re-release the DvD's in 3-D. And hopefully we'll still be around to ***** about it.

So have all the Kreia threads finished? Would it be ok for me to claim victory over them and therefore rule this place as the God that I rightfully should be?

Because man did they get technical towards the end and it would be better for everyone if I won sooner.

We can just agree to disagree since it's a matter of opinion.

Kreia is a bit of an unknown though, DE... but if you like her, that's great.

Filtered through my ego, your words stand as a declaration of my victory.

KAPLAH! (google it)

You, on the Kreia runs the gauntlet thread
I'll reply to the rest tommorrow. Its getting late and I need to mull things over.

We're waiting on you, son. Because as far as I can see, Kreia's royally and utterly fvcked since Vader would be immune to the effects of her drain.

Ah man. If you were waiting on me you could have said. I was waiting on you.

God Damn the Old Republic site is slow! I've been signing up for about an hour now. Jesus Christ!

You're not on phazeddl and no, they're not going to monitor your connection unless you're downloading 25 gigs of something.

So what's the limit, then? Can I get away with a gig each day? Should I stagger my days and only download every other day? (Can I do 11 gigs in one day?)

There is a lot of content out there that is ripe for the taking.

Hurm. Stupid ultra-technical debate.
