All right, that helps me refine my search. So you're more interested in songs that feature powerful vocals, strong choruses, catchy melodies, and a moderately fast tempo.

Vocally, do you prefer Pineda's work to that of Perry in the songs I provided?

Possibly... it's hard to say as I really liked the instrumentals of the two Pineda songs and I think they suited his voice quite nicely, but judging the voice alone I'd probably lean slightly more towards Perry.

Perry is undoubtedly the superior vocalist (or was at any rate; as I mentioned, his range and power took a serious nosedive after 1994). I'm similar in that I prefer peak!Perry's voice, but Journey has only continued to improve as musicians since they've freed themselves from his rather confining vision.

Journey's new album, Eclipse, is pretty epic all around (and I mean that in the literal sense). Excellent vocals, but the musicianship is just as stellar.

Try Resonate and Chain of Love, my favorite tracks from the new album and we'll see if that's too far in the faster, heavier direction.

I'd say they probably are, and while I have a feeling that in general I think I'd have more of a preference for their newer stuff I wasn't too big a fan of the last two (though Chain of Love built into quite a nice chorus but I wasn't too fond of the buildup).

I actually liked literally every second of To Whom It May Concern and Tantra and they're probably now my two favorite Journey songs by a pretty large marjin; Tantra especially, from the piano opening to the tiny guitar solo at 1:44 to the slower paced and faster paced moments, and as well as being very melodic it had a very epic, dramatic touch to it as well.

What I Needed.

Just ok imo - got a bit bored of the song after the first chorus.

^ Agreed.

Also, all of our opinions change on SWVF. There's no real crime in that. Hell, the post Nai linked to was before RoS had even come out, iirc. Before the movie came out, the general trend on these forums was that Sidious > Yoda by a fair margin, NJO was still "current", and KotOR II was relatively new. It was a different world then.

Whoa, what?

Yup.
I bear no ill will towards anyone here about this stuff. There were times that I used to, but it's not worth it. My attitude for a long time has just been to tease and mock and torment and play and make sure everyone knows not to take it personally.

Surprise. I have to admit my favorite concert though was Live in Manila.

That's definitely good to know. Internet rage is pretty juvenile, no matter who has it.

Also, anyone else having Steam connectivity issues?

Someone has apparently never heard Foreigner's Juke Box Hero.

I am full of surprises. I also dig Poets of the Fall.

My god, deus ex rocks.

Hell yeah.

There is so much to do, so many different interactions like the first one, and the inventory is exactly the same. I could spend a whole day playing one level.

If you attempt a Pacifist run-thru, keep in mind the following:

- The intro counts. Sneak or use non-lethal gas containers.
- EMPing bots who blow up counts if some dumb guard gets fragged from it. So do deaths caused by bot dom.
- Bosses don't count (Obviously)
- If you do this on the hardest difficulty (like I did), saving Malik is going to be damn near impossible. Like Battletoads post level 4 impossible.

Don't ruin it for me I'm in level two but the first time around, I'm going to play Jedi like passive throughout the game. Second time around, I'll drift towards the dark side.

I fully expect to be doing my second playthru as vicious as possible.
