Meh, Sephiroth came across cool in FF7, mainly due to his character build-up. As far as swords skills go, you don't get a good impression. But that's with all RPG's in my opinion.

He may be slightly overrated, but I still think he could probably take pretty much everybody in the SW universe. He is pretty overpowered.

and what else? vader would crush him easy, magic cant defend against a force crush, and sep is not a jedi, also note the fact it takes time, a few seconds to cast spells and the force is instant.

Well what was he anyway? First he's some kind of giant monster with seven parts of bodies attached to one which regenerate and whatever, then he returns in the form of an angel and throws around with stars.
How is any SW character going to fight that keeping in mind that they are much more realistic to this world in terms of fighting.

But I wouldn't want to compare SW to FF fighters and see who can take one another or is equel anway. That's just crazy work.

sephiroth is just a bad ass guy with a long masamune and magical powers, idk who the hell are you talking about.

al trust me FF is outrageous, their fighting skills are beyond reality, stupid crazy and unbelievable.

And no. Force Deflection in the terms of lightning that Dooku and Yoda were performing means that it made contact with their hands somewhat. Close enough to start frying Vader.

And 1) That's a blaster bolt, not lightning and 2) it's also disputed whether that was deflect or Vader just blocking it with his armored glove.

ok, like lukes force shield? a higher scale of force deflection, blocks out almost everything, force, lasers and kyle katarn knows absorb, it absorbs what ever comes in your way,

that thing vader did was shield himself from blaster bolts, i dont see why it cant be force deflection, the exact thing yoda did agaisnt the yichoris blaster bolts, and yoda used that ability to block lightning in aotc.

and magic can only be casted if an opponent is nearby, move out of distance or sight = no magic, and force users can use their sorroundings to pin the magician, kill him from a far distance, again vader proves this with force choke in tesb, magic users cant use their sorroundings, force users can, so there fore force users > magic users

I'm just going to say that 'the Force' and 'magic' do not exist in the same universe, and that magic has a greater and varied definition. There's no way to prove that the Force and magic can block each other in the least.
