Anyway, I don't see the problem. IIRC, the Revan novel never says he actually became immortal on the one planet. Only that he absorbed all the force energy there. Or, if I'm wrong, one of the characters could simply be wrong.

I'm level 15 on dromund kaas right now. And the book explicitly states that he did the ritual on Nathema and became immortal there, since he sucked the planet dry of the force. Obviously dromund kaas wasn't sucked dry at any point in time so we'll just chalk this up to bioware stupidity.. Again

Scourge became immortal without the need of devouring a planet's force. So clearly it isn't a requirement. Still Baras or Nyriss could simply be wrong.

Missing the point there. The novel clearly states how Revan became immortal. Also, another glaring error. The lore in the game says the dark temple was built by the emperor, but one of the sith lords says the temple has been around since the original sith empire.

With so many writers on the project its no wonder theres some continuity issues. Still, like ares said it can be explained by X simply being wrong.
